Thanks for your suggestions.. been reading around and finally ended up buying the longer servo arms (Esky A300) and that's, as you shared, basically all you need to do to make it run about 30km/u ... Really! Just to prevent blade strike I did use your other tip and actually bought some bike spokes for 50 cent ;-) made the inner shaft 2.2cm longer. But since I had to straighten the spoke manually first.. I'd suggest BUYING an RTF perfect straight extended inner shaft, Cheers !
Try buying some normal, longer, ones.. You'll have to cut out a piece of ur canopy to allow the longer arms to travel up and down without hitting the canopy. Just put your servo links on the 2nd or 3rd hole of the longer servo arms, then you'll REALLY see a difference!
Thats great 4ward flight. Been trying to acheive that but no luck.Moved to outer holes on the servo but the swashplate is starting touch against the `b` shaft. Can you tell me how you made that v4 fly like a rocket?? Thanks mate

i have a modified esky lama v4 with the alu upgrade, longer inner shaft, exetreme blades, cx2 skids, better motors
and i cant get mine to fly that fast, whats the secret
the only thing i havent changed is the flight bar

The V4 usually has short servo arms...

its a stainless bike spoke cut at 165mm with added groves then screwed on the esky upgrade head

sand back about 1mm on the swash plate hole it will reduce stability a little bit but give more pitch and speed
