This is a fantastically performed rendition. The subtitle of this version is "a love song to our country". It sounds better under the tempo given as this director has chosen to interpret. Well-done! Whoever was talking about more respect needs to pull the stick out!
Jack Stamp was my conductor for PMEA district band. It was an enjoyable experience. We played this arrangement of the star spangled banner and I teared up a little. This band does it quite beautifully as well! : )
