Can't link to the D7000 shutter clip here, but it's easy to find. There is really no comparison with the D7000 sounding better. My 5D Mk II sounds like a car door slamming.

7D is really robust and quick, giving 8fps in 18mpix has to be respected. On the other side, even with the most expensive L lenses it's IQ fails big time in comparison with much cheaper Nikon, having worked with both systems I can easily say that cheapest Nikon D3100 has better IQ than Canon 7D which cost a few times more.
