all i can say is whip your legs and push with your arm as hard as you possibly can
you're on the right track, its how mine kinda were when i first started trying one handed halos, you just need to learn how to catch with one arm to do continuous ones. try practicing mill -> one hand halo -> baby freeze. it helps build control
