It is amazing to see my brother's talent being shared & enjoyed by other musicians. He was self-taught, just looking up tab & watching DVDs & Youtube. Incredible. We miss you so much Mikey!!!
am i the only person who did the control+alt+command 8 so i could watch the video properly? seems kinda fitting (what with his death) that it gives everything a black border, think there should be more negative videos...
Man that sucks. He had so much energy. Must have had chemical disorder? You should upload the original or did he tape himself with some kind of weird negative filter? Sorry to hear it, I have had moments where it is hard to deal with chemical imbalance, I only recently a few weeks ago had such a problem that I was cutting my wrists with scissors and drawing blood but I have been through a lot in the past few months so it wasn't a normal occurance.
seriously of all the crap i've watched on myspace finally something worth watching. Man it's nice to see someone who actually has talent and not just using a shit-ton of pedals and cover-ups and stupid repeat crap. Nice work. Ahh I feel better now but I'm going to stop browing guitar videos because i know the next one i click is going to be some crappy disappointment. You've made my day.
the time committed to being able to play like this must have been thousands of hours, this is very good technical playing but the one thing i don't like about shred is its hard to see the soul of the music, other than that this is really really incredible playing!
I'm Mikey's sister, and just so you all know, this was just a jam, not a performance. It was filmed 1 year before he committed suicide, in which time he improved so much. So what you're seeing doesn't do justice to what he was actually capable of.

Really inspiring stuff, its a shame so many incredible musicians die so young :( his tone is similar to Jason Becker's really sharp, awesome playing

No this is the only footage of it, it was recorded with the negative effect

try using a negative effect on it in video editing software. it will reverse the reversed colors (in theory).
