  • "they overheard us being amusing in the kitchen" made me laugh so hard, I'm not even sure why X D

  • "Is that Hugh is it? Right, I'm telling!" I find that adorable.

  • Alright.

Goes on the list of worst quality, ever.

  • the hugh laurie impression was spot on!

  • did they ever get Paul Whitehouse on QI? That would be fun to watch

  • I know what I WANT them to be doing in the kitchen.

  • @ElijahsImpact YES! So I'm NOT the only one who ships them!

  • @candymandy224 Oh no, not the only one at all :)

  • Eeeeek, what terrible quality! :(

  • @PollyJuice Oh calm down, at least it's there ;)

  • I love the way Stephen says, "I'll tell him." What a precious human being :3

  • being amusing.

  • Phil is doing the Melchett baas. LOL.

  • @yeahhmovelikethat you should hear him do eddie izzard :p if you close ur eyes it's almost like it is him, untill the real eddie izzard throws a water bottle on the stage :p

  • sound is really terrible!

  • Tom Jones father was my mother milkman back in Wales and Tom as a kid used tyo tag along now and then and put the bottle on the doorstep so his father could drive the lil truck... was way before he was a known singer ofcoarse

  • what season is this? I like seeing the silly one with his hair long.

  • @greengrendel you mean alan davis? he's in every episode

  • @killarklan Yeah, he means he likes seeing him with long hair

  • My favourite idea= originally House wanted to follow the Sherlock Holmes theme even more by giving House a smarter brother, who was going to be played by Stephen Fry!

  • @galahad2025 You're joking, aren't you? That would be terrific!

  • @galahad2025 Well, we know house's father wasn't his real father, so he may have a brother we don't know jet. There is still hope.

  • @galahad2025 Ok, firstly that would be awsome XD but mycroft is so not smarter than sherlock lol :)

  • @AvalaDemson Oh, but he is. He just doesn't use them like Holmes does :p

  • @AvalaDemson he is, by far, sherlock even admits it and describes his brain as a supercomputer, hes just lazy and cant be bothered to solve cases

  • Jesuuuuus Phil's impression. Scary.

  • Karl Pilkington has a head like a fucking orange

  • @AnnaMcBanana How random. He does though.

  • They should really get Hugh Laurie on the show. It would be so good.

  • @tominator999 He appeared on the first ever episode of QI. Just watched myself, he came 2nd! woo!

  • can anyone tell me what episode this is from?

  • @Tamashi88 - Series D - Domesticity

  • Still maintain Phil Jupitas is the best guest to have on QI!

  • @GrandiaKnight jupitus along with rob brydon, bill bailey and/or david mitchell

  • "Me and my friend shared a house"?? STEPHEN!

  • @nobodyknowsmenow It does sound a little dodgy, doesn't it? But in a good way.

  • @nobodyknowsmenow And Stephen is REALLY gay??? For real life?

  • @DragonBleu01 Yes. For real life.

  • @handsdown101 Oh ok... i wish he is with Hugh Laurie *giggles*

  • Phill's interpretation of Steven's "Bahaha!" never fails to touch me.

  • Is that Jess Stevenson? Love her. :D That's her and Hugh Laurie briefly in the same clip! - my life has been made! :P

  • lol phils impression of hugh laurie is funny as fuck

  • @jordyboy321

    You laugh when you fuck?

  • Phil's impression of Hugh made me lose it. Fan freaking tastic.

  • @PrincessPotato It's a pity he doesn't sound like that anymore... even when he's not doing the "House" accent, even before that started, really, his voice has gotten a lot more... nondescript.

  • WTF are comedians on these shows writing stuff down all the time for? Like Phil at 20.00 - the end.

Like they think of a joke and have to write it down quickly :)

  • I believe the contestants are encouraged to write down all the Quite Interesting things they learn during the show.

  • For this episode I think they had to make a drawing during the episode and present it at the end. Can't for the life of me remember what they were supposed to be drawing though.

  • Phil Jupitus is so good at impressions!

    I never noticed this before.

His impression of Eddie Izzard is hilarious also!

  • Please somebody could write down all this? i'm not an english mother tongue, and for some reason I can't understand what Stephen said about things in the kitchen.

  • He says that Paul Whitehouse and Charlie Higson overheard them being amusing in the kitchen

  • I tkink he says "as we were musing in the kitchen"? I could very well be wrong though.

    Or "well wrong" lol.

  • @Flossie710 Stephen says they overheard us being amusing in the kitchen.

  • Don't worry. Most Americans have the same problem.

  • The question we always have waited for has been answered... though I expected the answer to be 'tomato sauce' and 'extra cheese'.

The reply was good enough, and the Bertie impression was very impressing... like they had replaced Phil with Hugh.

  • omg alans hair!

  • Y'know, Hugh Laurie's actually on season 1 episode one of QI....

  • This is series D episode 12. :)

I have seasons A, B and C on dvd and I don't think there are more because I've been looking for them with no luck. I really hope they'll release more QI on dvd soon...

  • whoa! alans hair got LONG!!

  • This is how I think of Hugh Laurie and it's so weird that my roommate thinks he's sexy because of House.

  • So what does she think of him in Blackadder?

  • She's probably never even heard of Blackadder. I go to school in the middle of nowhere, America.

  • Typical. Well tell her about Blackaddder and see if you can watch a few episodes. Skip season 1 as its rubbish

  • I hope that "typical" wasn't you having a go at Americans because after having grown up all over the world, I can tell you that Americans are certifiably the nicest and most polite people on the planet. They just don't know too much about British TV shows.

  • That was all my typical was about. I am just annoyed when Americans have no idea when a British actor is actually famous for doing something else in their home country.

A good example would be Patrick Steward, who as we all know is Captain Pichard and Prof X, but he was also a famous Shakespearean actor in the UK

  • That was a very good Bertie impression...I wonder if Hugh's seen it...

  • they overheard us being amusing in the kitchen

    LOL

  • The impression the man did of Hugh was eerie similar to Hugh's voice. Wonder if he has practised... It's always fun to got a glimpse of their former life...

I wish so much that they could do something together again. I read somewhere that they should do an anniversary episode of Blackadder, but I don't know if it's a rumour or true. But if it's true - great! Otherwise, I think somewhere in the near future, Fry should do a guest-appearance on House.

  • You have [at the moment of my posting] 20 thumbs up for that... I rally want Fry to guest appear in House.

  • We'd all love to see Stephen on House. He even has a character ready to go; if Fox would do a crossover, he could play his character from Bones, Dr Gordon Wyatt. (A friend even went so far as to say that the psychiatrist House saw a few episodes ago was Dr Wyatt, and she won't believe it wasn't until the show proves her wrong.)

  • That would be great!

  • Hah, that's a great story, it sounds like something the fangirls would make up... I wonder what they were doing in the kitchen.

  • That Hugh Laurie was spot on.

  • If you like this impression have a look at phil doing eddie izzard. It's uncanny

  • his impression is amazing!

  • Yeah but it's not an impression of Hugh, it's an impression of Hugh playing a character!

  • An impression of Hugh playing Berdie Wooster to be precise. :3

  • Bertie, to be precise.

  • The Hugh impression is hilarious!

  • same!

  • He's British, not american and he never will be, although the producer of the show thought he was a new american actor and had no idea he had a 20 or so year career over here, he is fantastic in it though.

  • There is NOTHING American about Stephen Fry, he's one of the Great British icons!

  • I think they were discussing Hugh Laurie, who I believe is in a television show called 'House' in America.

I am loving Phil Jupitus' impression of Hugh in this.

  • Jupitus always suprises me at just how good he can be sometimes; that impression was uncanny.

  • He did the best Eddie Izzard impression I'd ever seen, and this one is top-knotch as far as Wooster goes.

  • Haha yeah when he's talking about light sabers and toast. Genius stuff!

  • and having water-bottles thrown at you lol

  • Learn to share!

  • good lord, way to downvote a harmless joke, people.

  • whahahahahaha he's waaay too intelligent to be an american

  • ....since when is he suddenly american?

  • That was a PERFECT Hugh Laurie impression.

  • Hey, that was a good imitation of Hugh's voice! :)

  • And a good imitation of Stephen's fake laugh.

  • spending your time studying at Cambridge and being amusing in the kitchen as one half of a comic duo, can there be a better life?

  • Fifthed!

  • Fourthed! :)

  • May I also overhear Stephen and Hugh being amusing in the kitchen?

  • I second that request.

  • Thirded :P
