everyone keep comparing Eric Carr with Peter or with Eric Singer... or Tommy with Ace.

Kiss will always be the best whatever the formation.

but my formation opinion will always be the original.

KISS for me = Paul Stanley + Gene Simmons + Peter Criss + Ace Frehley.

for sure eric carr and singer are awsome, but for me ANY DRUMMER CAN REPLACE THE ORIGINAL CATMAN !

and yes, he played on Alive 2.. played on two songs on Dynasty.. and though he was a mess, continued to tour with them through the end of the Dynasty tour (79-80).. there's some classic footage of him falling off of the stool drunk during Beth on here.. He's still credited as being the drummer on Unmasked, though he didn't play at all on that album..

and he only played on one song on Psycho Circus (Into The Void)

Peter Criss has been quoted saying "No matter who they get to put stuff on their face, it aint us. You can take the mask off the Lone Ranger and put it on someone else, but it aint the Lone Ranger", but he didn't seem to mind it from 2002 thru 2004 when he played w/Tommy Thayer in Ace makeup. His playing is so bad that he actually isn't playing the drums. He is mocking his own parts. He is acting as if he is playing the drums, there is a pre recorded drum track that the band is playing along with. They only show quick clips of him, never do they show him complete the quickest of drum rolls which is a dead give away. And when you do see a rare clip of him playing he is barley hitting the drums.

That being said, Peter as a person and a member of Kiss, he is great.

To please Peter they brought in his producer of his solo album to produce Dynasty.The producer suggested they bring in a session drummer because Peter couldn't play.

OK so you guysm first many crashes are also done by the orchestra, fast of camera and lag of youtube makes it hard to see on peter, and its not that fast on drums cause they had to keep it down on the volume so pplz can also hear the orchestra.
