Blueyesand turn off your computer! How old are you- 10? Cook really loves kids.He makes a beeline to them.I've seen it time & again. He is such a softee with kids & it makes my heart swell with love for him. Invariably things get posted, haters like you start up with nasty comments to criticize him. You must type in "David Cook" in the search on YouTube with the sole purpose to just leave nasty unrelated comments and get people upset even when the topic is showing something as innocent as this.

I am so shocked and upset that my son's innocent fun riding his RipStik is being bashed. BOTH David's were interested in that thing. Just like any other male running around that sees it. That's awful that two little boys having fun and getting to hang out with a famous person for 2 min is ruined by catty comments. I hope my son's friends don't see this because it'll definitely ruin his memory!

I'm a Jason fan first and foremost but taking into consideration the fact that Cook's schedule is the most gruelling (they're all worked to death but his workload is ridiculous, it's immense), I have nothing but respect for the guy. It's so hard on his mind, voice and body - yet he is always polite and calm. Even when he's evidently beyond exhausted and can't crack his usual charismatic beam or jokes, he's still personable. He's a great hardworking, considerate, really decent guy.

More is demanded of David Cook than anyone else because he's the winner and Idol runs him ragged. A fan met him and he talked to her for 45 minutes. She says he's 100X nicer in person if that's possible. So polite and kind. He must be existing on pure instinct now.

Yeah, I was at the show last night and you could really see the exhaustion in the eyes of some of them. They all handled it well, though, particularly the Davids. Archuleta stayed much longer at the fan line than anyone else because he wanted to make sure he didn't skip anyone who wanted a picture/ autograph. Security had to practically drag him away. It's comforting to know they care enough about their fans to put up with the frantic pace.

I agree w/Georgia. I saw the complaining & the thread on his fan board, thought it was crazy & delusional myself.  Then saw the next night in DC in the video he'd obviously been hearing about it or read it somewhere too & was extremely hurt from it. He's working on the album, he has to eat, sleep, & find some leisure time somewhere, they're performing every single day w/1 or 2 days off at the most. He's doing exactly what he should be doing right now & he didn't deserve that.
