  • Allison is one great banjo player, but she never smiles.

  • I LOVE all different types of music but my fave is Jazz - secondly would be bluegrass. I do find some older music too raw. But, I find that alot of music especially in this is genre is very uplifting, makes you want to do something physical that is, tapping your foot, bob your head or just makes you wanna dance. This is one of the very reasons, I love old classics and contemporary classics. I confess, I am musically inclined. Music is my soul and my soul answers back. Its all about connection...

  • Alison, with just one L

  • Definitely not one of her better songs IMO.

  • i LIKE ALLISON & BLUEGRASS IN GENERAL BUT ON THIS ONE NO! NO! NO!

  • I'm eclectic myself, music is music.

  • Very interesting music, not my favorite. Thrash metal from the 80's is. Yet, i find this music rather intriguing and pleasing to my ear. I enjoy music in which people play musical instruments in tune, in time and in synchronization with each other. I really enjoy this piece. Also for any kids reading, keep an open mind of music, chances are you might just hear something you like :)

  • @funChick84

  • Great Song by Dan Tyminski

  • How clean and clear-headed. This is the shite!!

I didn't realise such early work by Alison, Adam, Barry, and Tim was up here. Wow.

  • Howdy! Thanx fer postin' this up. AKUS really gits me goin'! All the best, - Judd Jugmonger

  • Love this. I haven't heard it in forever!

  • This is the BEST set ever.

    Alison Brown-Tim Stafford-Adam Steffey

  • While I agree that their early stuff is great, I'm confused by people that expect her to stay in a box. I believe she records and performs music she wants to, not to sell more records. Her newer stuff goes beyond the confines of the bluegrass label, but it is just as heartfelt as the early stuff and not typical pop/country. The same goes for the Plant/Krauss album; They didn't go into the project with the goal of winning Grammys or a commercially successful album.

  • AMEN BROTHER NEIGHBOR!

  • Great song! Woweeeeee Can Adam find the notes!!!

  • Extreme Makeover: Bluegrass Edition

  • dan tyminski wrote this song

  • Not for everyone I guess but it's still some killer music!!

Tim Stafford on Lead vocal and acoustic guitar. Alison Brown on banjo. Barry Bales on Bass. Alison Krauss vocals and fiddle. Adam Steffy on Mandolin.

  • Man that's some killer stuff!!!! Allison at her best. IMO

  • Couldn't agree with you more, wish she'd forget the popgrass and return to a more traditional sound.

  • Amen Bro!!!!!
