As a bloodelf rogue, i was in darnasus many nights, near the pool at the temple, just for listening this masterpiece... something inside this music; dunno what it is, like an eternnal sadness. i hardly keep my tears. like the whole sadness in game all losts, consumed hopes inside in this music. just sad

funny the rest of the soundtracks in wow evoke a nostalgia feeling of happyness. A feeling of being a newbie. My heart was lifting with a happy feeling. Then i came here and my heart sunk...not because this music is sad..well.. I am sad because this is beautiful takes me back it has a relaxing feeling to it...very peaceful oh classic wow. WHY BLIZZARD!!! WHY DID YOU TAKE AWAY CLASSIC WOW!!! :( :*(.

oh wow, why did you have to change, why did WoTLK have to come out, or even worse, why did you have to come out Cata.  The real WoW is long gone and lost, never to be seen again, only to be heard of and remembered. Those who never got to play WoW before BC will never understand the whole game, it was more than running dungeons and running bgs to level and get gear. You had to quest, do dailies, and much more to earn your gear and money. The 'old' WoW will be missed by many. :'(

@Spack1801 2 years ago (in wotlk) I was a wow fanatic and even to this day it is my favorite video game. I would explore the world, do quests, I loved Alterac Valley, and I had plenty of friends. I didnt powerlevel to 80, i took my time and really enjoyed the game (I LOVE getting pets & achievments! :D). Sadly my comp broke down and i my account got frozen, but i am now trying to join the world of warcraft once again. I think wotlk was magic, i wish i could have experianced pre bc...

I have been looking around on WoWHead (a website) and I am remembering all of my toons across the server. ANYWAY, no account yet, but I am hopefully getting it back soon. I cant wait!

@lolcheerio33 They don't. By Tavern Music they simply mean the music for the places where the races rest. In the case of the Night Elves, it's a lodge, usually sitting on the banks of a river, which is completely open.

@LurellePiano don't worry there are thousands of likeminded people! and from experience there are many who claim to hate the nelfs but secretly like them.. closet nerds! xDD Mu girlfriend adored the Night Elves and Blood Elves both from an artistic stand point and lorewise. but that was some years ago, we stopped playing when WotLK came out but the memories are there and this music brings them back so fresh and vibrant! gets me every time!

This reminds me when I was role-playing in the temple of the moon (call me a nerd if you must, but I was on an rp server :P) and my character's heart was broken by a man she loved- but he never realised it. He had a wedding there and she was asked to attend :(. It's such beautiful music and fills me up with different emotions, including that of my character...sorry I am bickering on again ^_^

I remember when the music in Temple of the Moon at Darnassus was your genreic temple tune, and was so for years, then, one day I just got ported to that place, cause I needed to be near night elven region for some reason, and heard that.. I can't describe the feeling I had, I stayed there for nearly half an hour, completly forgeting why I was there in the first place
