  • GOD BLESS YOUR HEART AND YOUR NEW DAUGHTER AND YOUR FAMILY!!

  • Absolutly beautiful, it made me cry. My family have been working with the Cambodians for over 30 years now. We have crisis centre in Battambang which my sister is trying to adopt a little girl from there. So hard, so many rules which change every day. If you wish to check out my you tube video, Shona and Coopers trip to Cambodia. You are one of the lucky ones cherish her :)

  • Such a beautiful presentation! We also adopted from Cambodia. :) Also, beautiful song!

  • im from cambodia. and ican't thank you enough for adopting from there

that child is really lucky. congrats :)

  • Thank you for sharing!!

  • Beautiful video! I hope i can adopt from Cambodia someday. what are adoption requirements?

  • Just happens it is one the news all day about twar crimes trials in Cambodia. Their people have suffered so much and the life expectancy, even now, is about 40. Cambodians are a gentle people. Your daughter has huge eyes and looks very nice. Bless.

  • This video is so beautiful and heartwarming. I am going to adopt when I'm a bit older and I would love to adopt from Cambodia. Hopefully they'll have lifted the ban in 5 or so years! I've visited Cambodia and it is a wonderful place with such strong, kind and welcoming people. It was very sad to visit the orphanages and to see all those children in need of a home. Thanks for posting this. Hopefully one day I can do the same :)

  • This is truly beautiful. I have spent two years in Cambodia as a volunteer in rural villages, some of the work involving local orphanages. It is touching and truly beautiful to see your love for Cambodia, and for Mean.

  • i would like to take the moment to thank you and your family for adopting.

  • i know you said adoption is difficult in cambodia , is it going to change? i was thinking of adopting. im cambodian would it be easier to adopt from there?

  • It is impossible for American citizens (and for some other citizens too). So if you're an American citizen, I don't think it will be possible. If you're Cambodian and living in Cambodia or many other countries, it is certainly possible to adopt there.

  • Do you have any tips for people who might adopt in Cambodia? Thanks and congratulations.

  • Adoption from Cambodia is very difficult at the moment. It depends on where you live and what nationality you have if it would be possible at all.

  • Byt he way I love the song on the video, such a beautiful meaning.

  • wow, it's really nice of you to adopt. But, out of all countries why Cambodia? Haha, not that it's bad. I'm just wandering though.

  • was wondering why you chose Cambodia

  • I believed b/c Cambodia people are nicer tha'y

  • LOLz.

  • u r sooooooooooo nice!!!!!!!!!!

  • thank you that was beautifully done. i'd like to know the song, it really moved me. i am a 36yo adoptee and recently reunited with my birth mother. i often dont realise how much my adoptive parents care about me, but this was a timely reminder. i encourage you to keep Mean aware of her roots as they are an important part of who we are. as a same-race adoptee it never seemed important to my parents but believe me it is! thanks and god bless.

  • Hello, which song do you mean?

  • thanks 4 posting.

  • My god! I got goose pimples watching the video! It's so amazing and so a cute girl! I really feel atraction for Cambodian babies, I'm a teacher and I have a couple of them in my class they are so nice and so cute and they are always smiling! I wish one day I could adopt one but I think adoption with Cambodia is closed right now. Greetings from Spain and congratulations for your nice family

  • Thank you for posting this. It's so sweet! I started crying! This video has really helped me in my decision to adopt children when I'm old enough. Something about the look on Mean's face when ya'll picked her up touched me immensely! Thank you.

  • Oops! I accidently poseted that comment under my sister's account. I didn't realize she was logged in, I thought I was!:P Sorry DBW!

  • How is Mean doing right now?

  • She is doing really well, thank you! She's a wonderful girl, goes to school, loves music and is very social.

  • xwanna-

is it pronounced Mee-ahn? Like Ream, the National Park (and my Daughter-in-law's name.) ^_^

  • Hi Nanette,

    It's like Cambodian. Just replace D by M (/mian/)

  • Thank you Anna. ^_^

    Are you srey Khmer?

  • No, I am pross(male) Khmer :)

  • OK, sorry.

    Awkun.

  • Yes, Mee-ahn is correct (I can read K'hmer). Think of saying "Me-and" and then drop the 'd'.

  • Yeah, that's correct!

  • That is a cute baby !! who ever took care of the baby prior to the adoption must have cared for her deeply,i hope she found the same love with her adopted parent.
