Just to clarify ; The reason the new Focus and Fiesta handle very well, have very good mpg and high quality is because they were designed in Europe. The new Mondeo (Fusion) and Kuga (Escape) is being designed in US (-_-)

The ST division has been around in Europe for years and have produced Fiesta ST, Focus ST and Mondeo ST, and some limited editions such as ST500. There are no current ST models in production however this (obviously) and the Fiesta will be going ST this year.

@rustynichols22 I agree. I used to HATE most American cars but just bought a sonic blue MANUAL TRANSMISSION hatchback with the sports package. You MUST get the manual because the automatic sucks. These new Focus' handle MILES better than anything in that class. It handles like the last generation SVT Focus did. No roll, super stable, very communicative steering and incredible clutch feel. Look up the 2 tone interior with the sports package too! It's beautiful and SUPER high quality!

I assume this car is clasiffied as an Sport Coupé or Hot Hatch.

I have seen this car in the flesh at an Ford Auto display, and had the oportunity to compare it against the old Focus ST and i must say this cars is in a whole different ballpark then the previouse ST.

Overall styling doesnt really appeal to myself as an individual 2 close friends of myn are getting one.

Also the 's' is cut up in 2 halfs on the sti-subaru..so actually totally not the same ...
