  • Please do somebody knows whoes is the music starts in 0:26? In the movie there is some Beethoven music but this is different ...

  • HD my ass

  • Colin Firth is just beautiful. o.o

I love whenever I'm watching British films, the same actors in Pirates, Harry Potter, and some Tim Burton movies show up. *coughhelenabonhamcartercoughcoughgeoffreyrushcoughcoughtimothyspallcoughhack*

  • 1:22; what would be interesting to know is, where and when he had earned all those medals that, ribbon next to ribbon and row upon row, are on his uniform. He was born in 1895, therefore too young (19) to have fought in WW-1, during which he'd had a midshipman grade and spent most of the time in hospital for stomach disorders. Aside from this minutia, all my respect to his memory: he was a great king, really a symbol for his country.

  • "Why should I waste my time listening to you?!"

    "Because I have a voice!"

    "Yes you do."

  • You know what... this movie should not have won best picture...

SEASON OF THE WITCH SHOULD HAVE WON!!!!

  • he can't change his job because of the irresponsbility of his elder brother

  • perhaps he should change jobs. he cant :)

  • This movie gave me chills the whole time .

  • just watched the movie. incredible!!!

the movie & colin firth deserve oscar!!

  • And the Oscar goes to... Colin Firth!

  • Colin Firth: Acedemy Award *Winner

  • somebody recommended this movie??

  • If this movie doesnt win any awards @ the oscars,it will say something about the academy, not about the movie.it deserves a sweep. Yay5*

  • This movie gonna be the big winner in the Oscar' night! I swear ♥

  • Was this King the Elizabeth II father?

  • @edup12 Yes.

  • @edup12 Yes he was. From what I've read he was a wonderful father and role model for the current Queen Elizabeth.

  • @ejtimjam Thanks, I did not have a chance to read anything about him before, but now , with this movie on cinemas my interest has raised up!

  • @edup12 I've always loved British history and literature. It seems there's been more written about Edward and Wallace Simpson so this was a story that needed to be told, and it was told so well. I'm going to have to buy the movie as soon as it's on DVD!

  • I find it slightly insulting that Youtube suggests the Season of the Witch trailer after I watch this.

  • Perfect...a masterpiece!! I'm sure this movie will win several Oscars. Colin Firth' s performance is outstanding!! Thanks for posting this trailer.

  • Going to see this tomorrow, really looking forward to it :)

  • Interesting to see the differences between the UK trailer and the US version. In the UK, Elizabeth says 'And what is my husband were the Duke of York?' whereas in the US it is 'And what is my husband were the King?' The UK version is what is said in the film, but of course Americans are unlikely to know how Bertie became King. In addition the scene dealing with Wallis Simpson is missing from the US version - for obvious reasons!

  • I get so happy when Colin win the G.G last sunday. I have stammer too cause i'm shy and is hard even more here in Latinoamerica: there's a lot of awful jokes and the people already think that you are a retard person. I love the movie i wish the oscar for Colin.

  • This film was simply BRILLIANT. It has everything, and most importantly, some quite mesmerising performances. A must-see for any true film fan, and anyone intelligent enough to look beyond sex, guns and blowing shit up.

  • AN AMAZING FILM...i recommend it!

  • It is such an amazing movie!

  • Just saw this film today... Would recommend it to anyone with a brain-cell. Beautiful film, and if Colin Firth doesn't win the Oscar for this, it will be a travesty.

  • wow. it does look brilliant!

  • How old are you @hhfarewellii? You have the sense of humour of an eight year old! Oh, and WTF is 'teats'?

  • Duke of York?

  • @terry1261 Yes. Before "Bertie" became King George VI he was the Duke of York. He only became king because his older brother abdicated so that he could marry a twice-divorced woman (Wallace Simpson). Plus his brother had nazi sympathies so he wouldn't have made much of a king anyway,

  • Looks like a good movie. Expecting......

  • I waited weeks to see this. All the press were promoting this around Thanksgiving. It FINALLY came to a theater near me (Detroit area) on Christmas day. What a fabulous film. Great story. Some big laughs. And whileI'm a big Colin Firth fan anyway so I might be slightly biased but I believe he WILL get a Oscar for this role. Well Done!

  • English film! should be out in England First! makes sense doesnt it???

  • Saw this 2 days ago.

Cinema was packed. I was in the front corner looking up. Sore neck after.

    Worth it.

  • I saw this movie Christmas Day here in the US in a packed movie theater. Got a rousing round of applause when the ending credits came on the screen. It was fabulous. Colin Firth is amazing as the Duke of York.

  • Why are the Cineplex theatres

website lieing it says playing everywhere on December 22 and before movie commercial it says playing everywhere Christmas Day.It's an obvious lie it's not playing everywhere in Canada.I checked with the Cineplex theatre in my city and they don't have it on their schedule. My Mum and I really want to see the The King's Speech so make sure to distribute the movie everywhere in Canada.George VI was King of Canada too.

  • @hhfarwellii oh dear......made yourself look a bit of a cock there havent you? lol

  • i want to see this movie so bad and of course it's not playing in america

  • what is the music from 0:18?

  • The film is released across the UK and Ireland on January 7th

  • when is this coming out nationaly?

  • ...I wonder what H.R.H. Elizabeth II will say about Colin's character portrayal of her father...

  • Definitely worth the wait!!! Colin Firth and Geoffrey Rush make a bonding on screen which is hard to beat!!! A must see film!!

  • 'TIMING IS NOT MY STRONG SUIT"

you have to give the most important speech in your life and you stutter like crazy. quick find Geoffrey Rush to cure him.

a decent movie without explosions, giant robots, or bleach blond bimbos...there is a GOD. amen.

  • @nerdlymike as an American, I have to second that notion.

  • i want HBC to win an Oscar, she deserves it for many incredible career years NOW!

  • Goodness this trailer!!!! Plus, i saw Guy Pearce ♥

  • Please what is the Music in this trailer starting at the time :56 onward ... I dont think its on the soundtrack.

  • @drummingmom It's Philip Glass - from the soundtrack to THE ILLUSIONIST.

  • @hhgghh Thank you very much !! Much appreciated :)

  • Great trailer!

  • Heeeeeeey! Captian Barbossa ;3 ! and i luv Helena so ;3 defently gonna watch this one !!!

  • I will

  • I intend to watch this movie because I am one of those people who find public speaking equally frightful.

  • WOW! 3 characters from Harry Potter are here! Michael Gambon, Helena Bonham Carter and Timothy Spall!

I want to watch the movie not only because of them but because of the whole story!

  • One renounced his duty and gave up his people because of a woman, spending his time in tropical idleness. The other stayed and did his duty, and stood by his people through bombs and deprivations.

Why then is Edward VII always romanticised, while George VI never gets his due? Maybe this movie will help redress this injustice.

  • I am incredibly excited to see this film.

  • Colin Firth is badly miscast.

  • @JuanMacready who would you cast as George VI? i think they used colin cause of his jittery way of speaking

  • @orkneysnorknie Hugh Grant would have been better. Firth looks nothing like George VI at all.

  • @JuanMacready Yeah, but the difference there is that Colin Firth is actually a great actor, while Hugh Grant gives all us Brits a bad name.

  • Another excellent trailer for The King's Speech. I may like this one even better. Cannot wait to see the film and to watch the movie and all involved collect lots of awards,

  • and the Oscar goes to .......

  • I once read a biography on King George VI, couldn't help crying.

The man was totally miserable, but not a fault of his own making. Having a torturing childhood, abusive parent& siblings, he was saved only by his loving wife & kids.

I heard Firth performed well. CAN'T WAIT TO SEE IT.

  • Look likes a good movie, but the trailer gives to much away for my idea.

  • if colin firth doesnt win an oscar for this, i might hurt someone

  • mmm phillip glass soundtrack!

  • Much better than the first trailer.

  • thumbs up, if this movie will win an OSCAR.

  • Comment removed

  • EXCELLENT.....THE BEST PICTURE OF THIS YEAR.....and the Oscar goes to.....THE KING'S SPEECH

  • The American trailer was 10x better.

  • This looks to be a winner

  • I like cats
