i was was at RAF Marham talking to the RAF Regiment when all of a sudden a typhoon taxi passed the window. lol i had to say i was distracted from what the guy was saying : )
Machlooper me and my twin brother have been lucky enough to touch that jet "Shiny Two" up at RAF Lossiemouth in October last year. But sadly, as always with the Air Cadets, our dream of flying in a Tornado GR4 was dashed! :(
Can anybody help get two cadets who want to fly in a Tornado GR4 up in the jet? If so respond to this. I feel we deserve it.
2) "as always with the air cadets", you have more chance of flying in any RAF plane with cadets than a civ would
3) i'm assuming as you feel you deserve it you won best overall cadet at your squadron? if so, talk to your CO about a prize and if he's in a good mood he may contact one of the squadrons at Marham or Lossie and see what he can do for you. i know cadets who have flown in GR4's
@Revellmodeller I myself am in the RAF working on Tornado's, keeping them flying and I am yet to fly in one so the chances of an air cadet getting a go.... Doubt thats gonna happen... since you posted a year ago, happened yet?
