True. The Bank of England is a PRIVATE sector bank just like the FED, but it masquerades as a public sector organisation. Look it up on Wikipedia and you will see it described as a public sector organisation, but type Bank of England + shareholders into Google and you will see that part of it (the part which leeches off the pensioners) is privatised and has shareholders.
I am one of the most skillful men I know, energetic and enthusiastic and working every hour god sends, I struggle from one week to the next just to pay for essentials like food and utility bills - It surprises me little that many pensioners are having a really hard time financially...I don't know how they manage on state pensions alone...good vid. Andy. - the country is off to hell in a handbasket and nobody seems to care?
Soon enough, everyone will be begging to suck off the public sector tit. 45+million on food stamps here in US & each EBT card produced for those needy is provided by JPM. They didn't just build our FEMA camps for GDP growth, they will be filled in the near future. I feel for the seniors though, no matter which country they are residents of.
@qminusis I agree, I wish to see those who are directly responsible for having created the mess of a world we now live in being held responsible for their disgraceful actions.
Well then, we need claw backs. While there is a positive side to families relying on family members for support, this was neither the intent nor the purpose, of those ripping off pensioners, and the common man or woman of all they have built off their backs, human energies and dreams. If class-action will not work, then individual citizens should be bringing individual charges against those private individuals responsible for the damage. It would be less expensive this way.
@Frequencitee It wasn't so much the fact that pensioners were borrowing from the families in order to survive, it was that they are having to go 'into debt' in order to survive.
Especially when so many of them have indeed acetd responsibly, in as far as that they have taken what they thought was the appropriate action that was neeeded in order to provide for themselves in retirement.
I agree with you on the courts front, lets go after the bastards who are responsible.
@NowisEvollovetion I understood brother. I guess I'm grabbing desperately for something positive. But, we face the same issues on this side of the pond and it is going to be hell. I hate to admit it, but not everyone will side with the cooler heads, at least at first. Good article. I have seen similar articles here as well. And a beautiful young lady here on YT told her own personal story, that I am sure is being repeated all over the Western world.
Yes tragic, but then they never considered uniting with the students, and minorities who were also protesting the bankers, and inflation. If wec can't unite and push back...then yes, we'll all have to suffer.

Discusting.
These are the people who fought for the very freedoms were enjoy (or not) today.
They fought against opression, racism, genocide against the nazis & they are now treated like shit.
Of course that is not surprising, the government dont give a tiny rats ass about any of us.

@keithypops As seems to be the case in ALL corrupted societies, the SCUM always rise to the top.
Our government is now nothing more that a den of vipers, conmen, and villians.

Come on people, when are you going to come together and sort out the low life scumbags who are ripping us all off?
The elderly people in our society are now suffering, AND THAT IS UNACCEPTABLE.

@asymthought I agree, unity is the key.
'As a nation' we must drive these 'thieving parasites' into the sea.
