Thanks for putting these up. I remember the special since I first saw it on Showtime back in 1991 and it was a rerun of a TV special since it was first aired on CBS back in 1988 with no commercials. This was one of the special that didn't include on the 2003 DVD release of "Who Framed Roger Rabbit". I hope this special will be coming out on Blu-Ray in 2013 for the 25th Anniversary Edition.
@RyanDeBeaumarchais probably you wolud have the whole saint seya cast in there,as well as astroboy,the dragon ball people,koji kabuto,ranma,and...fuck it ,you know? your idea is brilliant ,there shoud be at least a short film with tha crossover,would be like king kong vs godzilla
@RyanDeBeaumarchais Probably American Toon Town x9001. Though honestly, I had always considered a japanese toon town, like Little Tokyo to LA or Frisco
It's funny that Polanski's "Chinatown" isn't mentioned as it was clearly an influence on the screenplay.

@MisterFii yup =) but mickey, donald, bugs, etc were the more famous ones who defined cartoons, while gertie was the VERY FIRST animated cartoon
