@thehazdog Some stats say 4th some say 5th. It's smaller than London, Birmingham and Leeds. Some stats have it lower than Liverpool too. It depends on where you draw the borders.

my best friend is simon and he lives in sheffield! he sends me all kinds of really cool things in the mail about where he lives. i posted this video on my facebook profile and a friend posted a negative comment about it. unfortunately i 4got simon loves going through my stuff on facebook...so when he saw the rude comment, it took me quite a while 2 get him 2 calm down!

Beautiful, picturesque? jeepers I'd hate to see their home towns if they Sheff is nice!! If you like to get around from place to place Sheff is a nightmare especially if you drive a car!! Its the only city in Uk without any proper roads. Only major city in UK without a train network (only 1 station!!). It has the tram but that only has very limited routes. Yes it friendly though.

You don't need a train network round Sheff though and driving round Sheffield is daft , you can walk everywhere!

Nonsense. You can walk, i you live near or in city centre - yeah. I used to live 4miles away from centre in suburbs & it took 1hour to get to get into work every day! Suppose I could've done an eight mile round walk? or got all sweaty on mi bike?

Then you leave Uni. Think it's a good idea to stay in the city. get some low - paid job and then come to a grim realization that your life in Sheffield is stuck on repeat.
