was here on YouTube searching for another song this morning and came across Amie Comeaux. I didn't realize she had passed away and at a very young age. Weird thing though is when I went to CMT.com to see if it was on there, they have absolutely nothing on her.

I grew up watching country music videos. I was only like 5 the year she died, had no idea til now. To find this old video again, remember what a great singer she was, and find out she's been dead for 13 years is quite a shocker to me. I suck.

I really miss that girl. I really wanted to meet her. I still have her Moving Out casette tape and an autograph from her fan club. I wish she could've done well a little longer. This was the first teenage country gal I heard before LeAnn Rimes, Lila McCann or Jessica Andrews. I just adored Amie Comeaux and her music and I still do, may she rest in peace.

She is my 2nd cousin and my moms 1st we go visit her grave as much as possible which is in Plaqumine Louisiana! I really liked Ami. I was sorry that she was killed I had both of her cd's but lost them

along with all of my music from Katrina

However I was able to get her moving out cd

through amazon I am so glad.

To Ami's family she is not forgotten and will always be one of my fave singers'

On December 21, 1997, Comeaux was returning home with her grandmother and her godchild, Megan, from a Christmas family gathering in Alabama. As Comeaux passed a car, her car hydroplaned due to severe rain weather and struck a tree, and she was killed on impact. Comeaux's grandmother and godchild were injured in the crash and were hospitalized for some time, but both survived.

I went to LSU... some years ago and took a documentary class and some years before that a class project did a documentary on her and her life - it was the saddest thing - not a dry eye in the room after it was over.

She is what they have in mind when they say blonde bomb shell. She's gorgeous. And she can sang too. But then again, there's a lot of artists in Country music who can sang. I'm not into country twenty four hours a day, but I love hearing people who can actually sing. I do have some favorites in country, but I'm mostly an R &B girl. Great song, thank you for posting it.
