  • The this is prototype of the Japanese space program to mars.

  • Seems to travel way too far after the water ran out.

  • really?

Im sure you wouldn't fly like that.

  • I really didn't need to watch mythbusters to realise this is fake.

  • Oh, well, if the brilliant minds at myth busters couldn't do it, then it HAS to be fake, cuz they're the smartest people on our entire planet....

  • @MrGDub6 I perceive your sarcasm my dear sir. Please refrain from restating, paraphrasing what nearly 50+ have said.

  • @MrGDub6 As a concession, I have changed the video description

  • Fake. Watch as he takes off. Busted on myth busters

  • press 1 for fuck

press 2 for I got 'em for you

  • i wish i had a cable that strong

  • is it me or is there no sound?

  • They use a big crane to lift him. Is totally fake. If he was propelled by the bottles, he should spin many times because the force is out of the center of gravity. That and the fact that is not enough force to go so far.

    Myth busted.

  • @interlinkknight Finally someone smart on youtube :P.

Most of youtube is druggies with tiny IQ

  • Like this if you're here because of mythbusters!

  • Mythbusters didnt quite get it right but still no very possible.

  • This Myth Is Totally busted!

    Grant: Yup...busted.

  • awesome wire work! :D who does your cables?

  • mythbusters busted this myth xD

  • myhtbusters got it wrong look at the japanese guys he's so small and skinny so flew....xD

  • ???

  • fake, watch myth busters

  • fake, watch myth busters

  • total fake... i could see him flying off hte deck but not through the air...also got a kick out of the little dinky airtube they put out for him...lol

  • fake but funny

  • If you really look at his landing there isn't a splash because of the buoancy of the bottles

  • Fake but still pretty funny

  • it is fake

  • myth-busters busted this and u can tell that this is so fake

  • lol just saw it on mythbusters hahahahaha

  • lol this prob just got about 1000+ hits cos its on Mythbusters, but right from the start when he takes off you can tell this is fake it just don't look right at all but its still cool that Mythbusters gave it a try ;)

  • me too!!! hahaha

  • im watchin it on mythbusters right now :D

  • mythbusters busted it

    but good concept

  • mythbusters are god? ignorant ...

  • In Mythbuster the bottle didn't work because the valve didn't work well. -.-'

And so what this is fake? It was nice and scary, and of course it's fake, there isn't enough water in the bottles.

    Nice video.

  • I like it that Mythbusters tried this.

  • wow

  • ultra fake, in rl, even if the rockets work, ull end up doin front flips cuz the thrust is concentrated on ur back. thats y jet rockets have never been successful

  • you mean like the jetpack man? his jetpacks are reall man

  • jet packs arnt real dude. even the one in gta san andreas isnt real.

  • gta's a crappy game, jetpacks HAVE been invented

  • correct

  • its fake, the guy was going higher and higher and there was no more water in the bottles and he was spinning, and also when he fell in the water there was no splash, japanese people are cool, but they need to think everything through before showing it to us...

  • the mythbusters cant do it with 50 bottles and another group of people couldnt do that with 100 bottles

  • it looks fake to me.

if mythbuster cant do it with 50 bottles

  • It looks pretty fake to be really honest, the Mythbusters couldn't do it even with way more bottles.

  • I watched mythbusters when they tried it didnt work barley wne t 6 feet

  • lol the way he flies is so fake... but funny as hell *thumbs up*

  • he goes down then he goes flying at 32-34.

    Fake but hilarious

  • lol I saw this on mysthbusterssss

    BUSTED

    OWNED

    BURN JAPANESE WEIRDOS

  • Wow, your the biggest dumbass I have ever met. It looks cool. Now go and get obese.

  • im watchin this on mythbusters.... so fake

  • this was so fake lol and i'm watching this on MythBusters

  • Same here. I would have believed this if the guy didn't fly like hundreds of feet. Ya gotta give the Japanese some credit for their crazy shows though.

  • same here what you said

  • busted.

  • not true but still funny, even the guy says so.

  • its fake proven by mythbusters they tested it. all they got was like a five feet forward thrust and a back flip. they even tryed 50 water bottles it didnt work!! the same.

  • so fake its not even funny.

  • come on.. he's on a wire.

  • I'm watching this episode of MythBusters right now!!!!

  • i say its comfirmed or possible

  • Lol I can see that more people saw this after episode of MythBusters so I'm not the only one ;p

  • myth! busted!!!

  • busted

  • busted by mythbusters :P

  • love that episode :P

  • what u mean busted? this is fake?

  • yup, its fake, sorry :(

  • hmm i thought it might be because if you notice when he takes off it doesn't look realistic how he twists and turns in various directions but continues upward in the same path despite the 'jetpack' thrust facing in various directions that would have caused him to turn and change directions rather than going in a straight arc path

  • Very true, and the bottles are on top of him, so in reality, they would just make him do a back flip. But i must say, how'd they make it look so real?

  • pretty simple, when hes still on the pier the camera is closeup and shows only up to his head so you wouldn't see any rope attached above, then when he takes off the view switches to really far away wehre any really thin rope would not be visible, then as he drops the rope could have been simply detached from him by a crane up above so when he falls into the water it looks like there's no rope

  • Must love cables!

  • waaaaaaw i love japanese they r genuis ppl ever seen

  • fun and fake =D i love japenese when they do some of that =D

  • It's fake, but not because mythbusters proved it. If you could get the bottles to stay in position, and a light enough person, enough PSI, good enough exit of the water/air, it could happen.

The reason this one is fake, is he turns around, water still exiting the bottles, and he keeps going forward. If theirs still water exiting the bottles he would have slowed down so much and not have gone near as far.

He spun on the cable he was on.

  • Shut up, anything is possible in Japan.

  • funny to read that almost everyone commenting here first or after watched the mythbusters episode (same here :P)

    Greetings,

    H34DhUnT3r[NL]

  • Yeah, i just saw the Myth Busters episode a few minutes ago and i wanted to see the infamous clip for myself. Looking at it now, it's pretty obvious that there was a rope or cable supporting the guy, but still...leave it to the Japanese to come up with something awesome like this. Why can't they have shows like this on our T.V? Heh.

  • whaha !!=D i did too ..mythburster is airing right now and i wondered what japanese game show they were talking about, so i decided to take a look at yt ^.^

btw he really did fly... so envious wanna do that once to ¬.¬

  • Yeah, but it was still awsome. xD

  • still funny as hell

  • really i didnt kno i thought it was real but what i would like to know is how did they porve it??

  • they tried to do the same and the farthest they got a mannequin to was like just in front of the deck lol, so yeah it was mainly fake.

  • on mythbusters... they proved it was fake....lol

  • yeah thats what I meant XD

  • Fake. And Mythbusters proved it.
