Hey, actually if you're trying to grow your hair out. Heat helps. (Maybe not the healthiest way) But it's a way to grow out hair, by burning away the oils on hair, your body tries to recreate those oils, so it makes more hair. If that makes sense . Ahhaa,(:

Do you rinse your hair in cold water? xD Lol I can never get my hair super shiny like that by just straightening it. I have to rinse in cold water, and condition it, and then use heat protectant to blow dry and straighten and then a glossy serum and then oil to make the hair shinier :(

yes, becuase if you apply too much heat...it will create dead ends, which decrease growth rate!!! mine grew like 4 inches in five months of pretty much no heat...i am not saying to never use heat :)
