  • Must say I'm way to impatient to brave Arachne's disk-mashing and sub-14400 dialup throughput. Links2 has a graphical mode and it looks/renders better than Arachne, even though it's a text/graphical hybrid. Too bad it may or may not be terribly stable in its MS-DOS port version. Sort of like Arachne.

  • Probably the only graphical browser for DOS that works well nowadays. On my older machine if I want to use it, I copy all the files to a ramdisk and then run it from ram. This is a better way than running from the hard drive, because when you view internet web pages the hard drive constantly chatters which can get on your nerves after a while. With the ramdrive it runs so quiet and very fast. This is a trick I use for the other DOS browsers like DOSLYNX and you get astonishing performance.

  • can you help my how to get ms-dos on internet?

i habe the internet drive hou to install this?

    plz help

  • I can't figure out how to make it work my internet connection

  • Very cool. I was checking this thing out and your video came in handy. Thanks a lot!

  • Lol that isnt Really DOS thats Command Prompt through vista Lol

  • is dosbox, a dos emulator

  • @jmpoder Dosbox idk what that is, but i can see the vista basic theme window. lol

  • @Icemoney22

It's not command prompt. The command prompt hasn't accessed DOS since Windows ME because that's the last version of Windows that ran over DOS. It's DOSBOX, a virtual DOS PC. It's no different than running DOS in MS VPC, which is also different than using the command prompt.

  • @Icemoney22 No thats not cmd is a program called DosBox that creates a virtual mashine with dos installed on it, it has its own virtual hard disk drive and all that stufff.
