we had the best and greatest collection of competent cartoons for our generation. I say we are luck to have what we had compared to today junk on TV. Great collection I still can recite most of my favorite into songs by heart lol.
TV Broadcast aired history in th UK was * BBC (19851986) * The Children's Channel (19941995) * Disney Channel (19981999) * Jetix (2005) * Toon Disney (2005)
Most of the shows presented were either I barely remember watching or never watched. Of course I was never big fan of Thundercats more of a Transformers/GI Joe fan.
I am an 80's kid though i don't remember this Ulyses one. I will have to consult my friend to see if he recalls. Maybe not broadcast in the states...??
You know I really thought between being a TV junkie in my youth, and my love for old cartoons to this day that I had seen every cartoon from the 80's, but I never even remember HEARING about that Ulyses one.
Good choices though, I used to love Pole Position. And I haven't seen Cities of Gold since I was a kid but I was still able to sing along with it.
Thundercats has to be the best since the video is just awsome! I'm gonna report Pole position for cruelty to animals, suffication a cat like that. Oh man! City's of gold! Thats my no.2 for sure!
Awesome, i never thought you'd have pole position on there, i haven't seen that cartoon for along long time. What happened to them all, they just seemed to end, don't remember any specific endings to any of them.

Ulysses? What year was that? Guess it would be a good Trivia question. Cities of Gold? These must be early 80s?

The mysterious cities of gold also aired in English in the United States on the Nickelodeon cable network from June 30, 1986 to June 29, 1990;
And in the United Kingdom, twice on Children's BBC in 1986/87 and 1989;
