Doc's really getting annoying. Everytime he does something wrong "I don't know what I'm doing anymore." Like some kind of sob story to make people feel sorry for him.
When you work on an ambulance that ride the streets like I do doc was just another medic who actually gives a damn about human rights as how people deserve the be treated. To him it's not just another patient in the back of the rig it's a human and he cares about people and it shows in this episode. When you ride the streets you see things u learn that the world ain't all black ad white
it seems to me that Doc (who I respect and admire on the fact that he does what he does for a living) really alienated himself in this episode....If the police were certain that the people they opened fire on were definitely the restaurant shooters then I am ok with the shoot now ask questions later approach they took. That would have been their best opportunity to get those killers off of the streets.
the way this people are with the ambulance is the reality in paterson nj, they call for every little thing, of couse they dont pay for it they use the ambulance as a taxi to the hospital when somebody else coudlve been having a heart attack.....Paterson nj sucks thats the reason i like this show because is reality for sure!!!
@applecarolina Same goes for Newark..I'm originally from there, and ppl don't understand that it's like stepping into another planet. Ppl have no regard for human life, they blame everyone but themselves, and they are just as accusatory against other races while claiming the same. Ppl need to get it together for the their own sake and the sake of their kids.
@countrySTAR06 Don't policeofficers have to make their presence aware though after entering the premise, i mean if they just start shooting without cause it's (attempted) murder, and you could reasonably be able to prove in court you were justified to return fire on armed intruders.
KOKO....Doc wasn't protecting him because he was black....they knew each other, they had history. Doc intention was to get Puppet to the hospital safely, then like he said "once hes stabilized you can call the police." Don't think that was about race at all, just Doc being caring like he always has.
Look doesnt matter what race, color, background, or childhoold, every person is different and EVERYONE is capable of being a criminal a shooter. a rapist. a serial killer.
you can be from the richest and even the poorest its your decision. its your choice to do this shit. doesnt have to do with race. it just has to do with how people wanna handle the issue. instead of beating up people they need to ask questions and eliminate the the innocent instead of assuming every1 is guilty.
@ropx30 how the hell can being a rapist a medical issue alright fair enough a lot of them may have mental health problems but that dont mean that is the reason behind them doing it
@ropx30 there is no reason to understand and there is no medical issue thats like saying well yeah the guy done things to my kid but i can understand y i mean he/she is a real cutie pie and the guy does have medical issues so yeah it was wrong but i can c his point
@Noel127 Tell that to the police in this episode. That is the point. This episode provides a point of view that you wouldn't normally see in a c show, but one that is all too real.
As far as where all this left Doc, any experienced public service worker can tell you, public perception is a bitch, and can easily ruin your life or even get you killed. Look at Jason Green, the EMT who was just killed in NYC a few days ago. Doc's case is all too real, and you MSUT accept it, it's urban culture.
when doc got arrested by those cops, a similar situation really happened in texas. a mexican state trooper was beaten and arrested when he was off-duty by local police because they were looking for "latino" gang members. they pulled him over, pulled him outta the car, beat him then arrested him. needless to say, the state troopers came down on that agency HARD. *cough* amherst PD *cough*
it's really disgusting the way people would try to protect a known criminal because he's the same race as them. i am 'black' and race cannot be considered when it's a question of right or wrong. but i do know that sometimes minorities are taken advantage of. where de hell does one race get off sayin they're superior?? black or white or in between we all die n get our corpses eaten by worms.
@MsKokolove That's not the point of the episode. Listen to the quote at the end, I believe it is from JFK, "Those who do nothing, are inviting shame and violence. Those who act boldly, are recognizing right, as well as reality."
Doc did act boldly. He stood up against unfair treatment and di something right. And yet this quote had it worng. Doc got the opposite effect, and it's true, it is not fair. I'm white, and support police, but lets face it, equality does not exist in this country yet.
This episode was kinda ridiculous. Who gives a damn what race a man is? It's not "racist" to arrest a man because he broke the law, that's called justice.
I hate racisim..I hate hate itself..Myself growing up with it an being racist towards black folks makes me feel like a piece of shit human being..Im know better than anybody else..Seriously people Let's get along an teach are kids an the next generation to be good people..There's to much hate and killing..
Here in Cincinnati, race riots toar apart and scarred the city. It was just like this. I even think this was based off of them. It was the same in the way that a group of black men committed a large crime, and the police reacted by stopping all black people and ID'ing them
Doc is your ideal paramedic believe it or not. Not a firefighter, not obsessed with PD, he is a medical professional, they make the buisness. But unfortunately, Doc is not the ideal black man, his story is sad, but common
wow, he´s almost paranoic, seeing discrimination everywhere... there are rasist at both sides..always. We can´t judge anyone by his appearence but we always have to be cautious.. no matter what colour he is. And that´s not only about white and black (because I don´t have this kind of experience, we don´t have black people and I´m white so white people are not rasistic towards me) but it concerns all races.
THey shot up that cafe, what did those ppl do in their to deserve that. Some didnt even make it on the bus. Then they wounded 2 cops, dont you think he deserved to be puled out of a bus. Cos he sure is such a good guy. Ppl always side with the bad guys, and forget cops are ppl 2, without them their would be chaos. So maybe a little credit after all not all of them are corrupt. And the next time your in docs situation at the end of this episode, you would want the cops to come.
No matter what the crime, the PD is corrupt when they execute and refuse EMS care. I am not inclined to be against cops, I like to think they are good. But things do happen. This year was a bad year for police racial profiling coming into the spotlight. Again, I live in Cincinnati, home of one of the biggest race riots, it scarred the city for ever.
Do you get it Doc?? Blacks want gangland lawlessness and want the police gone....they want America like tribal Africa and no matter how many cakes and cookies you get, the battle is lost and inner city are slum hell holes.
Thanks you very much I really want to see season 3 episodes 7,9,11,13,17,22 The ones I want to see the most are 12, and 17 the names are (9)Season 3, Ep 9: Sex, Lies & Videotape (17)Season 3, Ep 17: Falling And one last thing YOUR SO AWSOME THANKS FOR UPLOADING THIS thanks for doing this for the people who can't see this and for the people who has missed it ^_^
