If you are just getting bubbles on the homebrew homescreen after first installing try pushing the "home" button on your remote. That should give you a menu screen. Thought that might help because I did not hear any mention of that and I followed all of the instructions and just got bubbles until I did that. I hope that clears up some confusion.

Ok, so I got Firmwire 4.3e and a wii wih copyright year 2006, installed everything from part one with success. But when I tried to lunch bootmii the screen turns black, but it isnt bricked.

And one more thing. The apps ive put on the sd card does not show in homebrew.

And I did rename the bootmii folder.....

@2bigcobra start your wii with no game in it and the sd card in the slot then after the drive quits making a noise push and hold the reset button then it will take you into the priiloader screen and then you can fix it from there by downloading the 4.2 or w/e it is and it will fix for you

I did the first out of three videos and had no problem. This second video makes no sense to me. What are these files you speak of, are these the games you ripped etc? Can I not just rip on a DVD-r and put them in now that I downloaded the homebrew and Bootmii?

@mbacal08 So, you have to do the things in this video Except Installing Theme or Downgrading, because this softmodding part in the video will allow you to get the applications that allow you to rip on a DVD-r, etc.

Hallo, I have advice for everybody of us, who do everythink on video and have black screen. You have to go to setup menu (push pover button and immediately press the reset button - it might not work in first try). Then go to "LAUNCH TITLE" and found "HOMEBREW CHANNEL". Now it is simple. Continue instructions on video from 4:30 and install all, without the last thing. And it will be OK. I have European console 4.3E, and now it works.

@Spooknanners you need to look at all the videos before doing anything but what you do is for the file bootmii(off) you must delete (off) then it should work then when done with tutorial just add (off) back to bootmii. hope this helps

Note: If you are in Region (E), do not try the Dark Theme. It definitely ends up with Black Screen. Here is what you do to fix the Black Screen.

Assuming you followed everything until the end of Part2 and have blackscreen as a result of Dark Theme.

Restart Wii. Quickly Press Reset button. keep pressing until you see the priiloader menu. Ensure you have the Disk with the ~400MB of data from the above tutorial. In Priiloader launch Boot MII.

Click the Manage System Menu. Re apply 4.1 Menu.voila

@chimes300 i you have saved your backups.. u put that onto your sd card, and then u put the sd card into your wii then it will come to backup thingy. then u get backup from your SD card to the wii.. i've done the same mistake 2 times already.. and fixed it both the times :P
