  • Props to Newman for exposing a lot of truth here...EXCEPT his assertion about human produced climate change. In fact it's the climate change movement itself becoming the geopolitical reasons for war just as much as energy or currency. All said though, fascinating study on everything else.

  • @pauladamkim -

climate change is a moot point compared to peak oil.

you have to figure out how you can (or if you can) live without fossil fuels anyway, so whats the point debating if they cause climate change or not?

  • The scarcity of oil is synthetic. Oil is not a fossil fuel, the overriding majority of it is a mineral. The bankers want to starve everyone, and seize the planet for themselves.

  • @centurion180ad -

all minerals deplete, there's only so much to dig up

  • @walter0bz OIL is a mineral, generated by high temperature, high pressure, and gravitational work done on our Earth's crust as she flexes.

It regenerates, much more quickly than most realize, and there is *alot* more of it under our crust than we are being told.

Rockefeller's Standard Oil Trust is MASS MURDERING THE ENTIRE PLANET, to prevent independent economics that these inbreed insane sadist pagan pedophiles know will hapen if peace ever breaks out.

  • @centurion180ad -denialist nonsense.

you can't face the idea that your way of life is coming to an end.

if oil was formed as fast as we use it, we wouldn't need to drill - it would just keep gushing out.

there has been an observable real decline.

The issue is that earth has a finite amount of material inside, if we use it to multiply (12x since industrial revolution) we will always run out however much we started with

  • @walter0bz My "way of life" came to an end over a decade ago, because of all you gangster lying criminals.

Scarcity is synthetic. There are *vast* reserves of oil that Rckefeller's Standard Oil Trust gangsters have been preventing development.

The "observable" decline is by the same God damn energy War Criminals that are extorting price hikes from clueless consumers.

All these LIES & HOAXES are being revealed, and YOUR vile filth is what is coming to an end.

    Enjoy your prison time.

  • @centurion180ad - lmao.

it would have been better in the long run if they left the oil in the ground and civilization developed around renewable power. we wouldn't have 7billion people today but we wouldn't be facing the catastrophic famines and wars we are now

  • @walter0bz Renewable power? LMAO

    Are you aware of thermodynamics?

Have you built a perpetual motion machine, AGAIN this week?

Solar pannels & wind turbines cost more in standard electricity generation to build, than they ever put out in life. Geothermal works great in Iceland, but rarely is any other area so blessed. Dams eventually pay off, but all the greenies bitch about fish & snails.

Do you want to live, in the dark?

  • @centurion180ad -

    yes i'm aware of thermodynamics.

I am well aware that renewables are pathetic compared to oil - which is why we need global one child policy until earths population is back to pre-fossil fuel levels.

and no, I don't *want* to live in the dark. I'm terrified of whats coming.

but at least i'm not in denial or scapegoating like you.

earth has finite stores.. we can't use forever. Problem is we used the finite stores to fuel population growth which is why billions are doomed now

  • @walter0bz My child bearing & rearing habits are none of your or anybody elses God damn business.

Oil is a mineral. It is generated by work in our Earth's crust.

We are going to outlaw Rockefeller's Standard Oil Trust, bust up the inbreed usuring pedophile energy mafias and UN treason control of our land. Then when I find oil on my farmland i'll pump it out as I see fit, pay a mineral tax to the state & national government, and put it in my market as I see fit or use if for myself.

  • @centurion180ad - oil is finite, depleting mineral and without it , your kids have no chance of the life you or I have enjoyed. In the future earth will support about 0.5-2billion people which means most alive today face a bitter fight to the death over resources in which most will perish. Thermodynamics!! you can't replace the energy once it's been released. Mathematics! - the power of exponential growth depleting a reservoir watch dr albert's lecture on that.

  • @walter0bz You have been reading and absorbing too much Rockefeller Tax Free Foundation filth. You also don't know thermodynamics or physics either.

There is *plenty* of oil for life of mankind, more will be generated, and what energy we consume will be more than replaced by our star.

The problem of synthetic scarcity is because of the Tax Free Foundations, the God damn BANKERS, and all the Gangsters in governments.

If you care about your children don't listen to gangsters.

  • @centurion180ad

"and what energy we consume will be more than replaced by our star."

    - then prove it - stop using oil. Until oil/coal/nat-gas powered transport /industry shuts down and is replaced by solar/wind, all I see daily is proof that we rely on the fossil-fuel energy lotery-win to live beyond earths sustainable solar powered limits. Plants are currently the best solar-powered "engines", using nano-assemblers to build themselves and all the chemicals humans need from waste materials.

  • @centurion180ad - if you have kids.. they have my sympathy at least. they are in for hell. (and probably us too). Imagine WW2 magnified 50 times. *billions* dead, not merely 20m or whatever it was back in the 1940's

  • @centurion180ad - denial & scapegoating.

the economy is going downhill because we all use oil, and as it depletes fewer people can get access to the same quality of life (yes those at the top will get greedier to hang on to it) .. but whilst we've always had struggle with power structures, this situation is unique in history. overshoot and collapse, at a global scale.

  • @walter0bz Mass & energy may change form, but they may never be destroyed.

Our crust albeit slowly, is absorbed by our core as new crust is formed by volcanic action along the ring of fire. This crust is then continually gravitationally worked under extreme pressure synthesizing many molecules, such as diamonds & oil.

  • @centurion180ad -

    entropy always increases.

Energy is never lost, but it turns from stores (potential energy) to waste heat - randomized radiation/particle motion.

The earth has finite energy stores. The sun also has finite energy, being burned in fusion, but we can't over-spend it like the earth. this is why we say solar (and solar by proxy - wind/biomass ..) is renewable. Oil is stored solar. If there is mineral oil, it is also finite.

  • @centurion180ad -

pressure and heat converted the organic molecules from many types of molecules (sugars.. cellulose...etc) into hydrocarbons.. simplifying them. the more complex molecules decayed over time. But nature already evolved the ability to store solar energy in long hydrocarbon chains, and literally oil - species of algae used in biofuel produce the exact same oil molecules we dig up. see "vegetable OIL" .. or is that a banker conspiracy?! "fat" is just oil molecules stuck to a holder.

  • Where was the funny part? FFS

  • Just like renewable energy, this was a waste of time. it was full of weak and full of boring topical points, very misanthropic in nature and above all sucked. I like Robert Newman, but not as this character.

You can not use bad people from history to prove a misanthropic point that people in the president are also bad people.

    Grasping at straws!!

  • fantastic video. certain types of ppl learn better when being entertained rather than lectured. but rob needed to highlite the madness of 'economic growth' too. developing new energies wouldnt slove anything. it just allow us to complete the project of the turning the ecosystem into ever more people and junk. its a myth that theres a shortage of either energy or other resources. there is just an excess of humanity. no amount of resources can ever keep pace with exponential growth.

  • Maybe it was the peak oil which made the bubble burst.

  • And that was way back in 95 ='(

  • I think Micheal Ruppert has it right... Localization is the future, form a small self sufficient 'tribe' not reliant on power grids and utilities companies to make it through the next decade.

  • brilliant ,rob newman still delivers ...and yes we will run out of oil you div

  • we will never run out of oil.

  • Tom Waitts meets George Carlin meets my History teacher

  • In the end...

    we're all just fertilizer...

  • thanks for uploading

  • Soylent Green is people!!!

  • C.F.R. control Bildenberg, UN, Club of Rome...

They use CIA, NSA, MI6,MI5, Mossad...as henchman

  • Children were lost in the sand

    Clearing roads with little hands

Trying to join their fathers' castles together again

Will they make it? Who knows where or when

    Or if woulds will mend

Shots, ringing all along the border can be heard

Pouring down, like venom from the sky

Cutting through the air, faster than a bird

    - excerpt from "Shots", a song written by Neil Young in 1978

  • There are two types of people in this world with regards to change. Watchers and do'ers. Rob Newman is correct in saying that the world leaders of industrial countries are literally clambering over eachother for the last reminance of oil. A politician will not make the change but will back someone (a do'er) who has the tenacity to create a change. So who's going to do that before being told that there is "no way out" ? Mankind will revert back to a pre-industrial age whereby we will struggle.

  • Glad I'm Vegan!

  • I'm glad i'm selfish and can still enjoy steak.

  • haha! I don't mind if you eat a steak.. good for you..

  • Exactly.

  • We've all become too separate and selfish as people, the trials ahead

are sure to test humanity, as the trials before have and so forth, the

streets will again be awash with simple horseshit ,and people will

realize their values are much the same.Society will change with or

    without our permission.

  • bye bye miss america pie-drove my chevy to the levy but the levy was dry......

  • Umm...i get your point, but 'American Pie' was about the death of Buddy Holly...

  • bye bye miss american oie-drove my chevy to the levy but the levy was dry.....

  • Ask anyone in northern climes...not even 10 hectares is enough to live on. Cite the Latvian 'experiment' of the 1930's under the Communist wing of the Vatican. All production ended up being absconded by the new 'nobility' iow it all went to Moscow. New game same as the old game...

  • brilliant!!!!!!!!

  • you may be cynical My Australian freind of Socilaism but un FACT keynsian Socialist economics was never seriously used. The Nationlaised indusries never could reach there full potential while under the power of Private finance. I assume you are a happy Kangaroo under the present private monopolies

and banks who rule the world.

  • yes the message is clear we need to get out of Capitalism into Socialist action small and large scale.

  • oh yes socialism has always proven to be the answer.

  • In our era yes, it has. Scandinavia has it right, everyone should strive to copy that. Its just about being pragmatic, use what works.

  • The euphamism...socialism...will be of the type practiced in the past. It will start with massive depopulation, which will be the true goal in and of itself minus all the 'fluff'. Todays 'new' systems are yesterdays murder and slavery.

  • *** please see Lindsay Williams 8 part non-oil crisis ***

  • The best thing we can do as individuals is take less - less food, less fuel, less water.

These things need to become a virtue.

  • No we we need more food. We need the CAP to subsidise food.

  • Absolutely fascinating video. Opened my eyes. Thank you so much for posting.

  • Food is oil ... for every 1 calorie of food that we eat, 10 calories of oil based products are required -- for everything from transportation, to fertilizer, to insecticide, to fuel for farm implements and factories and electricity for keeping our food fresh and cool ... also know that all plastics are made from petroleum, so when the oil runs out, unless if there is a scientific breakthrough, there will be no new plastics ...

  • Take a look around your own house -- see how many things we depend on are made partially from plastics ... All of this would mean the end of the Industrial Era -- unless if we invest heavily in research and development for alternative energy sources ... right now ...

  • Hello

the nov issue of national geographic has a good article on alternative energies. it makes a case for each one corn, surgar carn (raw sugar) cellulose (like back to the futur), and even algea. worth the read for anyone intersted in this topic.

then you should come back and discuss

  • The best thing would be to do away with subsidies, bailouts, and the like. Then allow the market to determine what energy would be best. You're putting far too much faith in the government if you think that they know the best solution or that they won't sacrifice long term goals for short term gains. Congressman are elected on a 2 year cycle; do the math.

  • This is more history lesson than comedy, but... Besides the fact that U.S. oil addiction is facing a world wide shortage of fossil fuels, the fact that the world powers are trying to hasten U.S. economic demise by devaluing the dollar is pure economic genius. 'A non-violent revolution!" Isn't that what Reagan did to the USSR?

    peace

  • The best way to learn! We need a Moon shot type of investment in alternative energies like Dennis Kucinich has promoted to free ourselves from a never ending middle east war. Oh, for those that say that the government can't do it...NASA is part of the government, we went to the freaking moon. Right now the powers-that-be...Wash DC and Wall Street (was that redundant?) have the foresight of the next quarters profit margin, not for the well being of our children and grandchildren.

  • I agree that a focus on a new environmentally sustainable economy will spur growth and change like we've never seen before. In ten years we made it to the moon. Just think what we can do in ten years of a full out sustainability program, every corporation and government involved: jobs, research, education, everything focused on that mission. Dennis is right.

However, the more serious issues of corporate power and market manipulation must be addressed simultaneously.

    Here's for hoping!

  • We can do more then hope, we can vote! Big Oil and the War Machine will fight the logical progress of all people, peaceful resolutions and clean energy hurt their bottom line. My stance is...screw them! peacelf, you are a inspiring man, I appreciate your videos on your site and your comments here.

    Kucinich 2008

  • @peacelf A good move would be to get a hand on the "new" technologies the us government has locked up in private corporation vaults...

  • @1famekouby conspiracy theory? No doubt that there's many cleaner technologies around, but it's the corporations that hide those inventions, not the gov't.

  • @peacelf Hum, those companies are linked to the US military, so even if there isn't a direct link, the funding and orders are still supposed to come from the government or there's something I haven't understood about "employing private corporations".

Just look at the declaration of an ex CEO of lockheed martin, Ben Rich: “We already have the means to travel among the stars [...] Anything you can imagine, we already know how to do.”

  • @peacelf american?

  • @irishprice If you're wondering why I use lower case, it's a small, self-indulgent protest. Peace
