  • whats the tune?

  • One of the most amazing videos I've seen. And it's on my Birthday! :)

  • It looks like God firing tracer rounds onto Humanity.

  • this vid goes perdect with the music in :saber seventh letter project

  • Nice vid man.

  • ☆★☆That's AMAZING ☆★☆

You've done too much unnecessary work, however, to raise the frame rate.

With Adobe Premiere CS4, you can speed up your videos easily with a single click.

    .

Check it out on my last video :)

  • @SuperTimelapser It may have seemed like "too much work" but it was the foundation of some of the other timelapses.I have here later on. I would have needed to write code to get the map and time of day to be overlaid anyway. Besides, I run Linux predominantly, and I prefer to work with free software if possible and practical. I do have a Windows dual boot, but I haven't been into Windows in many weeks.

  • Awesome!

  • I love that, amazing video!

  • i slowed it down 1:30.... took me 45 min to watch

  • Sky Harbor always looks nice from the air at night. In fact, it's much more pleasant to watch a video of it than to actually be there in the heat (although I guess it's not too much of a problem in January). Anyway, nice video! No need for music, though.

  • @Mxsmanic - Hit mute then ;-)

  • Wow ! Awesome video ! I love it !

  • this is one of the best time lapse vids thanks

  • Lmao i thought those were birds flying....soon found out it was planes

  • Wicked. Time lapse is always more impressive at night too. Don't care for the Phoenix airport though thankfully I didn't have to connect through there at all this year.

  • SOOOOOO MANY PLANES!!!!!!!!!

  • Absolutely tremendous. Extremely well done. Very smart.

  • I'm in awe. What a stunning vid!

  • impressive!

  • hey mate would absolutely LOVe a copy of this! any chance of a download being made possible from somewhere?

  • wow

  • Very well produced! Does the audio track have a certain name to it? It's a great smooth sound.

  • Pretty nice. An amazing video and also with HD1080. Incredible, nice, beautiful and more things I could say. Great Video. Thnaks a lot. xD

  • Very nice! Please do more!

How did you do it? Recorded a video and speed it up or took a bunch of pictures at a given time interval?

  • @Fergobirck It was video taken with a Canon HF S10. I exported every frame from the video to a png using mplayer. This took roughly 450 GB. I then wrote a perl script (using Image::Magick bindings) to read in 30 frames at a time, reduce the levels 30-fold, composite them into one image, and then write out the new frame. I then used ffmpeg to merge the audio track and processed frames back into a video. This resulted in a much smoother feel than taking every nth frame from the source video.

  • @pinchaser wut? lol

  • pinchaser, sent you a message about the music for this video. What song and artist is this??? Awesome video, more please! Thanks!

  • @AirspeedSL Thanks!

It's an excerpt from Airwave feat. Ludovic Meyer - Batignolles Blues (Ferry Tayle & Stephan R Never Ending Story Remix)

  • Really nice!

  • really good dude ;)

  • Spectacular!

  • Breathtaking!
