  • @chimpanze34123 Annie Hall is (500) Days of Summer, but with adults, and Woody Allen.

  • @Eudaletism hm ok might watch it one day

  • I love how everyone is going on about HIMYM, which is brilliantly ironic considering one of the lines in the film.

  • @hooty158 seriously? aye aye aye.

  • @hooty158 How I Met Your Mother made me watch Annie Hall yesterday! and I must say, I loved it!

  • @hooty158 So fucking what?

  • tell the other allison that she should leave someone such as myself alone because she is not winning. she's only going to make herself look like the kind of bitch that only a fucked up jerk would like.

  • великолепный фильм

  • Marilla!!

  • When he kills the cockroach in the bathroom with a tennis racket I lost it. One of the funniest moments on film.

  • @rievans57

you dont even understand what you call "the funniest moments on film." it was funny because it was just a spider, not a cockroach...

  • woody allen's voice reminds me of patrick dempsey's voice...just saying...

  • Scumbag YouTube: 'This video is not available on mobile'

  • (Me watching the trailer) "This looks really funny. Wait. SHELLEY DUVALL?!?! NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • I love this movie soooo much. It actually changed my life. B E S T M O V I E E V E R

    Woody is a GENIUS

  • @velvetinetable

    I agree.

  • Christopher walkin? Really?

  • @bucky468: Oh, brother! In "Redneck Woman," Gretchen Wilson sings, "I say 'hey, y'all' and 'yee-hah'," not "hey, y'all, Annie Hall"! Why would a redneck woman care about Woody Allen?

  • lol Christopher Walken where did that come from

  • Someone enlighten me. Did woody allen marry his daughter?

  • @Evan42881

    His adopted step-daughter..

  • @nirvanawg awwwwwww, i don't see anything wrong.

  • @Evan42881 No, he married his ex-girlfriend's adopted daughter. XD

  • @cgmyaccount1 Thumbs up if you thumbs upped his original comment!

  • Country singer Gretchen Wilson must be a Woody Allen fan. She even makes reference to Annie Hall in the chorus of her smash hit "Redneck Woman."

  • This is a brilliant movie - very insightful and hilarious at the same time.

  • What is wrong with the people who think Star Wars is better than Annie Hall? Star Wars is just a dumb sci-fi flick. There are dozens of movies just like it, and besides, it didn't need to win an Oscar, it is already one of the most famous movies ever. Annie Hall is a smart, beautiful and original comedy. If you don't think it's a good movie, maybe you're just too dumb to get the jokes or realize how brilliant a movie it is.

  • @TheHansky Different strokes man, just enjoy the film.

  • @TheHansky Or maybe he didn't relate to the film or just didn't find it all that funny. I love when people reduce others into a cultural stereotype. Did you see what i did there?

  • @TheHansky

They're completely different movies, so comparing them is useless, but I will say this:

Star Wars (episode 4) was the complete movie; it had everything: The Hero's Journey, the comedy, the romance, the drama. It also had incredible production value, with an entire universe shaping around it.

And it didn't become a famous movie because it won an Oscar, it became famous because it was such an incredible masterpiece.

  • @cgmsdh I like Star Wars more than Annie Hall, but you have to admit that SW doesn't have even half of the depth and art factor that Annie Hall has. Star Wars is really just "cowboys and indianas" in space, not that there's anything wrong with that.

  • i got here thanx to star wars, and i'm disappointed with the academy.

  • Diane Keaton was cute and so was Shelley Duvall.

  • how did starwars lose to this

  • @ComdrCody have you seen annie hall?

  • Manhattan is loads better.

  • Lol jewish comedy is best comedy.

  • i did actually grow up in a norman rockwell painting

  • and yet most manhattan jews are the embodiment of that stereotype

  • any one know the scene with that mannequin?

  • star wars should have won the oscar...

  • @LosTxRebirth Get over it.

  • Anyone know what the background music is?

  • @MuggleSnuggles It's the tune to Seems Like Old Times

  • bad vibes

  • Allison is fascinating.

  • one of my favorite movies of all time

  • I really liked this. An intelligent film... Good job, Woody!

  • loool V.P.L visible panty line

  • this is my favourite movie EVER, it bumped Lost in Translation to number 2

  • it's kind of sad how incredibly creepy he is considering how talented it is

  • @tally388 I disagree. I have never found him talented - just vile, ugly and pathetic! and his movies are so annoying and go on and on to no end and my eyes roll back in my head like: shut up already with this grating babble! I just read Mia Farrow's book - she is an angel.

  • @goldengirl67 way to go against the grain!

  • @goldengirl67 Fuck you!

  • best movie everrr

  • lol. since when did woody allen go to an alice cooper concert?

  • I'll admit, his latest few films aren't as good without him in it, but they still have Woody's charm that no one else can do. IMO, a bad Woody is better than a good movie by someone else.

  • woody allen is 73y old now and is stil very active. His fans still enjoy his movies but of course no one can keep on producing masterpieces. Having said that Match Point is a recent movie of his and is regarded even by critics as a masterpiece. It's a matter of taste and expectations I guess.

  • just makes me even sadder about how shit woody allen films are now.....

  • luv it

  • @matthewinnj08, you used a 2 in your question and you dig nj, so idk how'd you'd feel. but in a relationship, after the end of one, and even before one i suspect, this movie is like some kind of bible-caliber magic balm. definitely buy it, they don't seem to make movies this way anymore.

  • absolute masterpiece! it even has Marshal McLuhan in it ;-)

  • @ItBrandonSilver Boy your a big time movie hater huh?

  • No, a SMART movie lover.

  • Oh, it is most definatly worth owning! Not my favorite Woody Allen film (but that's just because Hollywood Ending has a special place in my heart, lol) but one of his GREATEST! Watch it now! LOL

  • is this movie worth 2 buy?

  • Very much so.

  • @matthewinnj08 YES!! Its amazing. I have it on DVD and I must have watched it about 20 times haha

  • my god Diane Keaton is hot there!

  • 1:09 Who is the girl in the background? White shirt.

  • "Cockroaches and bad plumbing. You say that like it was a negative thing!"

Classic Woody. His best film ever.

He's one of the few directors in history that created his own genre,,, "A Woody Allen " film.. what a guy.

  • brilliant!

  • I am Annie Hall

  • "VPL" visible panty line, has its own reference on Wikipedia!

  • hahaha

  • "what did you do? grow up in a norman rockwell painting?"

    that's hillarious! XD

  • love this movie.

  • OMG thats the one from the shinning! XD

  • "I love being reduced to a cultural stereotype.' What genius wrote this? Woody Allen probably.

  • @culturevulture123 Yeah and then afterwards, when he came on to the stage and made that Eisenhower joke, that almost killed me... Such Irony, such sarcasm... Brilliant...

  • @culturevulture123 yeah and marshall brickman.

  • @culturevulture123 of course!

  • its from 1977 not 1997

  • but trailer it's made in 1997

  • No ! my mistake !! i put a 9 instead a 7

  • @ella151188 what does it mean???please describe
