What you call racism boils down to one simple but obvious fact, the difference in culture. No matter how open minded you are, the environment and the culture you were raised will have so much impact on your relationship. I'm generalizing but that's what Korean parents are afraid of most. Even though they don't live with their son/daughter's spouse, they still want to effectively communicate with them. With the language barrier and the difference in culture, it's hard to meet in the middle.
OH! When i lived in the dominican republic (which is like the opposite of korea, culture wise) they also had these "love motels" you speak of and theyre friggin everywhere! In fact, the last place I lived at down there, you had to pass 21 of these "love motels" consecutively just to get to my residential area.
They had names like "Oh Yeah" and "The Garden" and "Happy City"

I agree with you guys sooo much! Especially on the old people racist thing. Ok, I'm Asian and I've lived in England for six and a half years now, but some of the old people are sooo rude! When I'm waiting for a bus, they just give me this mean look and push in front of me when I'm in the queue. Like, WTF? Some of them are nice though.
Oh, and I really want an interracial baby. I'm sure Koreans would like me. A lot of them go to my home country (Phili). XD

@Volf99 In England, Asian is mainly used for people from India, Pakistan etc. They are of course still Asians, however you notice they do not have to same features to those people from Japan, Korea, China ETC, so some people consider them a different race for some reason :')

What you call racism boils down to one simple but obvious fact, the difference in culture. No matter how open minded you are, the environment and the culture you were raised will have so much impact on your relationship. I'm generalizing but that's what Korean parents are afraid of most. Even though they don't live with their son/daughter's spouse, they still want to effectively communicate with them. With the language barrier and the difference in culture, it's hard to meet in the middle.

OH! When i lived in the dominican republic (which is like the opposite of korea, culture wise) they also had these "love motels" you speak of and theyre friggin everywhere! In fact, the last place I lived at down there, you had to pass 21 of these "love motels" consecutively just to get to my residential area.
They had names like "Oh Yeah" and "The Garden" and "Happy City"

@osiud North korea has a dictator so they are dirt poor... You have no rights and he rules your life. All the people there have no idea that theres a better life outside N. Korea because there told its worse outside. For the very few koreans in north korea that DO know there is a better life outside, theres no way out unless they were to be killed trying to escape.... Trust me, south korea is better....
