  • abusing the replay buton

  • I jizz my self every time i hear this on vinyl!

  • I took my sons to see Link in 2003 , Link autographed my oldest son's guitar . The man was amazing , way under appreciated.

  • @shanepinfist I saw Link in Helsinki 1997. Couldn´t take my son with me ´cos he was just a baby (born in the same year). But now he´s 14 and likes to play Rumble with his guitar...

  • So awesome, raw and raunchy. Link is the shit. The only artist to ever have an instrumental banned from the radio for being too obscene...lol, long live Link Wray and this badass music

  • THUMBS UP IF YOU THINK LINK WRAY SHOULD BE IN THE ROCK AND ROLL HALL OF FAME!!!

  • That's some straight to the balls shit ! YEAH

  • My favourite by Link Wray is called Rumbleshock.

  • This music ain't old to me. I didn't grow up hearing it on the radio

  • one dislike get the hell off here you ass hat

  • I saw Link Wray a couple of years before he died. He played at Little Five points in Atlanta, Ga. He was in his 70's He could still make his guitar smoke. I remember Rumble when it came out and was a hit in the late 1950's Link had bad memory problems and repeated the same story several times in his performance. He put on a great show. respectfully old -ED

  • @highschoolmusical841 Ok maybe I didn't use the best choice of words. but still the bluesy rock 60's? esque sound gives his playing a "I hang out in Back Alleys" kind of feel. mind you I play a little guitar myself. (not that good) But it puts someone like Link Rays abilities in perspective for me.

  • R favorite striped and raw ummmm hummmm!!!!!

  • Nothing says ILY like strip tease music!

  • Link Wray's style evolved around that great hit of his called 'Rumble'. There certainly are overtones here. I read once that Link Wray got that distorted guitar sound either by driving a pencil through the amp speaker, or shredding it with a razor. Can anyone elaborate on that?

  • Man he plays that guitar like it's a Dirty Bitch....

  • This music allowed people to thimk for themselves when live was rough on the streets whille at the same time evryone knew their place.

Thas why it will never be again

  • my ears OH MY GOD !! <3 link wray kills it ! :)

  • I wasn't around 'til much later, but I assume Link Wray fans beat up Elvis fans?

  • @suntzufreeman1 Link Wray loved Elvis.

  • love it

  • I came across this by accident.. OMG its pure sex. Love it.

  • That bass..woo hoo..

  • Dunn NC is proud to be his hometown!

  • Shit knock me down what a player

  • Killer track.Sounds like it would be right at home in a David Lynch picture.

  • @bluesborn DL is the man !! have you ever watched 'dumbland' ?

  • i wanna buy it..

  • 1962?!?! This is light years ahead of its time. I knew he influenced Hendrix, but I didn't know how much until I heard this track. Wow.

  • "ROUGH EDGED" -- the very DEFINITION!

    Thanks!

  • It's "MY" street

  • holy fuck what year is this stuff? i'm assuming it's old, this guy was sent from the future damn

  • @aurlis2012

    1962

  • @aurlis2012 Indeed, Link was one of the greatest that ever was. Without argument, one of a literal handful of men who shaped rock. Some have even said that it was pretty much between him and Chuck Berry. So glad that I got to see Link play before he passed.

  • Rippin' good stuffski!

  • Doug Wray is such an awesome drummer.

  • This song is the sex!

  • Guitar blues!

  • This rules.

  • Vip Vop Tapes!

  • To hell with the hall, Link is too damned cool to be enshrined next to the likes of Michael Jackson and Billy Joel... Id hate for his legacy to be commercialized. Hes a legend to the ones who know who theyre talking about, and that a bigger honor than any stupid hall of fame run by those-who-dig-pop-doo-wap. Let Elvis have his trendy-ass wanna-be audience & fame, hopefully his fans stay away from the shows and scene Wray, Perkins & Burnette fans inhabit.

  • the hall of fame just got demolished

by LINK WRAY,,,,,,anyone want to complain???

if you do then screw you.

    link lives..

  • @ralphcraddock you've got to be kidding....he is not in the R&R hall of fame?

  • Got to be the original and best Garage music ever!! Love it !!

  • Awesome! You can shave with that guitar tone. Long live Link!

  • I used to make .22cal short zip guns from broken off car aerials. No Link Wray in the R&R Hall of popularity is a travesty. They have some real questionable people in that club, but the ones not in it piss me of more that those who did make it in. I would trade Link For Sweet Baby James any day, as well as several other slugs.

  • @Satchmoeddie ...LOL @ James Taylor

  • real bar music

  • @crackerHero ...As opposed to fake bar music?

  • @youhavegeniusshins i meant its rare finding a good joint in america with music like this always on instead of the fuckin bullshit you hear all the time once the radio is on

  • Someone tell me why abba is in the rock n roll hall of fame and not link?

  • people prefer fags and pussys i never knew why WRAY OWNS!!!

  • @AltamontKiller fuckin A right!

  • Link Wray......the first and original guitar bad boy.....see ya in Heaven Link.....

  • Music To Slouch & Loiter To. Those asshats at The "Rock And Roll" (?!) Hall Of Fame have James Taylor in there, and no Link?!? They need a visit from a bunch of hoods with broken-off car aerials.

  • @Dolemiteification seriously.......ABBA is in the rock and roll hall of fame too.......it boggles the mind

  • @jakep42zer0 yeh i know , this man here is thee guitar God as far as Im concerned

  • good thing is that there is no shitty lyrics to spoil the guitar. 5 stars are required ! :)

  • @yurihammo its because he lost 1 lung in korea

  • @yurihammo HELL YEAH!!! No stomp box. No effects. Just turn the amp up until it begs for mercy. Rock On FOREVER Link Wray!!

  • yeahhh the best guitar ever times

    LOVE IT!
