This shows two things:

a) The content blizz gave us suxx and is to easy

b) hunter pets are OP

I mean, how could a monkey have enought stamina critimmunity and avoidence to survive all this if the ballencing wasnt totally screwed?

I'd even say this is a DPS tank since the hunter can dps along.

Kind of hard to say he is a dps tank since he is doing about 300-400 dps less then any tank while doing this. Also it was by far not the easiest fight ever especially from a healing perspective. The things most people choose to forget is that the only reason this is possible is because the hunters pet ignores most of the AOE damage on the fight.

How much DPS does a tank in that group do while Bossfight? 2000? 1500? I'd be guessing a Hunter with equal equip would easily do 2000+ with autoshot (if the tank was doing 2k thats high)

How does this work in PvP anyway? i know pets take 80% less AE in PvE because most hunters, locks or unholy DKs are to stupid to pull their pet back when a big slow AE comes down but if a pet cant be nuked in pvp just because of this? well thats stupid.

In order to do this my spec was highly specialized and my gear was specially chosen to be heavy with stamina and gemmed and enchanted for it. In order to get my pet to the 37k he had in this video I had over 42k myself, something a hunter clearly can't achieve casually.

Because of this even with full raid buffs I did below 950 DPS, and my pet required constant spam healing from multiple healers seeing as he can't become crit immune and has subpar avoidance.

@thelastdeadmouse Were you using full PvP gear, or just PvE gear with as much Stam as you could fit? With Resilience, you can make your pet crit immune for PvE.

Guhls take (skilled) much less DMG from AE. Dont care about the exact number.

A pet tanking anything that was supposted to be tanked by a geared up fulltank shows us either one of the following things:

- Blizz has to easy content (for better players)

- Blizz didn't ballence some classes right

Since I have no problem with hunters in pve or pvp I'm guessing that the content is way to easy, as satharion is freeloot unless you cant find enough players -.-

I didnt know of this. As far as i can tell shes t1 to t2 boss. so when you're bwl equippt or higher she wasnt all to hard to play anymore, or was she? cant remember.

Ive seen 40 priests do her and Ive seen ragnaros only done by hunters and a rogue tank illidan and still think that those are unintended screwups by blizzard.

109% dodge for lvl 19 twniks? nearly 100% dodge on 70? and thus overpower was born?

@Razzfazz87 you may want to notice that this is the 'revised' edition of naxx, so lv80 not 60. this makes the encounter still outgearable ofc, but pet tanking was impossible at 60 because pets were totally useless back then (low hp/armor, no aggro, no aoe avoidance). nefarian has been hunter tanked back at 60, but by the hunter himself, not the pet :)

on a sidenote, you may want to know that sapphiron is male.

When I said the content is to easy I said it was to easy so that one can start playing round and let a pet tank. never said letting a pet was easy did i? I've just seen saphiron a couple of times myself since wotlk and didnt find it hard at all. maybe its nicer for healers, meaning harder. than whats the 20th kill compared to the first 3?

Only fight I've healed in WOtLK where threat was an issue. After my first renew i was second on threat for like the first 10 seconds.  It was a lot of fun doing it though.
