I agree with everyone. My boyfriend and I ride and either we both have a helmet on or we dont. Bikes do have front and rear brakes. Seperate from each other. Awesome story though. Not twisted at all!!! When my boyfriend wakes up, Im showing it to him.

only one problem with this story... by the time they said and did all that and then exchanged helmet the bike would have rolled to a stop if he had sifted off the throttle and used the engine as a break. Unless the throttle was stuck on and the emergency cutoff was broken... and the key wouldn't turn...

It just takes more time to slow the bike down with the gass and gears.
So if the boy knew that he had no brakes long enough to get a hug and to switch helmets...

This is an impossible story that never happened for several reasons:
1.) Motorcycles have front and rear brakes with separate controls - there is absolutely no way both of them failed at the same time
2.) It is possible to down shift and slow down rather quickly on a motorcycle even with no brakes
3.) A conversation like this with a helmet on in 100 mile per hour wind would be completely impossible
4.) I never saw the guy that rode with his girl on the back and HIM wearing the only helmet
