Wonderful movie, love everything about this movie, the story, the soundtrack, specially how he brings the old wild west style. the references he makes to other movies, such as ''fear and loathing in Las Vegas'', and ''Starwars'' are sooooo cool!
See this one sounds a lot like "Miserlou" but the song seems to have many variations although it is a somewhat original song, Example: this just shadows "Miserlou" however the riding montage scenes sound a little more like "Ghost Riders In The Sky"
@sunlun123 the main backtrack of "Pump It" is Misirlou by legendary surf guitarist Dick Dale, which this song is clearly influenced by. They both take minor-sounding melodies and transcribe them into surf rock which gives the song a very westernish feel. Course Misirlou is a traditional Greek song, whereas this melody was written for the movie, but its a very similar song...
Have you noticed quite a lot of the latest CG movies seem to have this trend of having the movie in 3D, but the end credits in traditional style animation.
Don't get me wrong, I kinda like it, but I still wonder, why can't the movie be 2D? I'm not saying CG looks bad, I'm just saying it's everywhere and a little change would be appreciated.
When i see and hear Credits like this in the Cinema, it's an indescribable feeling... It is SO different than the typical "letters go to the top"-credits.
I just saw this a couple of hours ago, it was a funny yet awesome movie. =) It made references to Star Wars Episode IV: A New Hope (Bat chase scene) and LoTR (Sarumon's Eye in the caverns).
I love this song
