Hello, I know that most of you will probably ignore this, but please look at my photography at Facebook group: Chloe Jane Photography and like it. At sixteen years old, I don't have the money for a Canon SLR camera, but I take my photos using the Samsung PL150 digital camera. I like to bring something different to my photography, but I love capturing the moment too. If you are interested, please like this comment, so it can get to the top :)
2:23 how can the statue be behind the light and become silhouette when the sun is shining on the side that it's in the photo? look at the shadow of those people walking in the beach
This is very good advice, especially if you are a beginner. I too find early morning and late afternoon have the best light for great photographs. Thank you for sharing these pics and tips.
@SilentEcho8: You should wish to have a nice eye not a nice camera. It really inst about gadget but rather a question of weather you have an eye for a beauty or not. And yes, quality camera does help just a little.
I liked the video. Thank you for the tips. You had one bad example, though. The example used for the fill flash tip of the statue on the beach. You said you used fill flash because the light was coming from behind the statue. However, you can see from the people on the beach and the shadows they cast that the sun was behind you to the left, not behind the statue.
Thank you so much for this video. I bought an upgrade of my previous camera because I was getting into photography and this helped me take SO many more beautiful photos than I was taking before.
I have a tip for better what digital camera. Shoot/Upload your vids in HD, so we won't have to experience the ironic feeling of watching a " how to shoot better pictures " in crappy quality:)

How did you get the forground and background in perfect foucus?
boom911boom 6 months ago
@boom911boom narrow aperture/big aperture numbers like f11,f16,22
ashkibala1 6 months ago
@boom911boom maybe big aperture ,like f22+
theproversion 3 months ago
@theproversion a aperture like f22 is very small and a aperture like f0.7 is very big.
small f-number = big aperture
big f-number = small aperture

What is the best way to shoot in bright sunlight without getting overexposed shots? On my last outing this was a big disappointment.
Please help as I'm traveling in another day!
