This is cool, but don't ya think with all the things we have invented they could make more realistic sailor moon costumes(well look more like the cartoon's anyway) the one's they have are really BULKY! but this was cool! I've never been to anything like this *shame shame*  It's cool!

They're re-creating the costumes from the Sailor Moon musical(Sera Myu) They look exactly like that.

The costumes are meant to be flashy and kinda gawdy looking. That was the audience members, especially ones who are further away, are easily able to distinguish between them.

I remember this... it was the first time I got to see SJam in person, and the only time I got to go backstage. I still remember I had a film camera at the time.
