buddy plz advise me that i just bought 2 new pioneer cdj 400s and 1 pioneer djm 400..is it gud i mean which ones is better cdj 400 or cdj 800s except the usb connectivity advantage in the 400s..i don't know why i feel that scratching is better or 800s!!! isn'it plz advise

i think if you are concerned with heavy scratching/turntablism then the 800s would be better because the scratch wheel is bigger and you can be slightly more precise with it.

if you are doing a little bit of everything, the 400's should be fine.

Depends on exactly what you are trying to do, but typically you'll need 2 CD Players/Turntables, a mixer, and a set of speakers...

if you're cheap, then you'll *obtain* programs off of the internet which emulate a full DJ's console and even extra sound effects and video mixers (primarily ATOMIX: virtual DJ) --no where close the feel of real djing but it does alot and it'll give you a real basic feel for mixing and when i say basic i mean you'll pretty much get a feel for beat matching and learn what alot of standard controls will do....totally worth it though if you dont have any $ i got paid 80 just for dj'n off my laptop
