A Bugs Life was always my favorite Pixar movie when I was a kid. I loved to imagine the secret and overlooked world of the bugs. And this song just ads to it, its so adventurous and magical :D
This has been my alarm clock for the last five days... chillest alarm ever. I seriously lay there for five minutes until the song's over before I get up.
I actually just got home today from California, and that was my first time going there. I'm 17. :( I feel like I totally missed out for all my life. D: I basically dragged my family into A Bug's Land and was made fun of the entire time for wanting to ride the kids' rides. I wish I had gone as a child...seeing my favorite movie IN REAL LIFE (almost) through a child's eyes would have made the experience even MORE magical than it is now. :) Best soundtrack and movie ever. <3
I haven't seen this movie in a very long time, and yet I remember all these themes. Randy Newman doesn't get nearly as much credit as he deserves these days. Not that I don't like Thomas Newman or Michael Giacchino – I love them – but I think Randy deserves to be applauded just as much as them.
This movie/soundtrack reminds me of a simpler time, when we didn't have to worry about war and financial crisis. It reminds me of my childhood :,) I'm so proud to be a 90's kid :,)
@mfnstudioschannel I think I'd hate to be a kid these days. We seemed to have that perfect span of time where we got really cool things but weren't completely spoiled. Kids films weren't out as often so the ones that did come out were actually really good, rather than Space Chimps and the garbage we get now...
@chadbrochillist really dude? Calling someone stupid for stating their opinion? I am not taking away from the fact that Wall-E is truly a work of art. I'm just not a fan of sitting down for more than hour watching robots fly around in space with fire extinguishers. Its an opinion... I had no intention to offend any fans of wall-e... xD
@izzyxyoung Yea but it wasn't said as if was your opinion. 'Disappointed' suggests that it disappointed moviegoers, which it simply didn't. I thought you were making a sweeping statement that is clearly not true, particularly since metacritic rates WALL-E as the best animated film of all time. It scores similarly high on rotom. Either your wrong or the professional critics and the Oscars and Golden Globes are all wrong.
@izzyxyoung I agree with the last bit. I really think you should watch WALL-E again though, make sure your in the right mood though. Don't go in expecting humor, action and a movie you won't have to think about.
@jacksonbaseballb Why is this a joke...? If you found this amusing you are very easily amused. The actual movie would probably make you laugh to an extent verging on dangerous.
Personally I think that from 2:12 - 2:26 sounds a lot like UP. BUT I like that type of music more in UP than in Bugs life even though Bugs life came first.
Finding Nemo and A Bugs Life have the most amazing scores. Toy Story and Monsters Inc have the best songs :D its just that those twits off Hannah Montana sung 'If I Didnt Have You' and ruined it. But i still love it!!
This movie is totally underrated when it comes to Pixar movies! But I love each and every one of them- and the soundtracks will ALL stand the test of time. Amazing.
I love how Pixar only eva makes a sequel if they have a good story for it. ALL the films they make could easily have a cheap sequel released for a quick buck but that's not how Pixar do things. They make films to tell a story and not to fill their wallets. If this was any other movie company I think we would have seen a lot of cheap, trashy, straight-to-DVD cash-ins. Well done to Pixar!
I love this movie so much. I can still remember watching it at the cinema. I adore Pixar, and I can't wait for Toy Story 3 (it comes out on July 19 in the U.K.).
@danielwills93 Yes actually. Randy Newman composed the scores for the first 4 Pixar films and "Cars." Followed by Thomas Newman for "Finding Nemo" and "WALL-E." Finally, Michael Giacchino composed the scores for "The Incredibles," "Ratatoullie," and "Up."
@danielwills93 I was thinking of Up too. I saw this movie years ago, but damn, until like, Sunday, I hadn't seen the movie for maybe 6 or more years so I forgot a lot.
This soundtrack basically combines the best soundtrack moments from the movie. A wise decision, as most of it is not available in any other soundtrack officially. The main theme is just spectacular and I love everything about this movie inside out.
I love it! Brings back memories when I was watching A Bug's Life on VHS when I was younger. I love Randy Newman, he's an amazing composer!! Thank you for uploading!

I hope that Pixar don't do a 'Bugs Life 2' there modern ones are crap (with exception of Wall-e :3) compared to this and Toy Story etc.
