I've been working on it for about a week and I finally got a decent sound I've been working on improving. There IS a way for you to do this sound, you just need to practice:) practice a LOT:)

Quick question: Is it possible to do throat bass without having to really use or 'break' your vocal chords? I've had a couple of people telling me that you have to bust or break your vocal chords in order to do throat bass, and I was just wondering if you literally *had* to.

@Kuwabaraification Holding the "clearing your throat sound" is the throat bass in it's self.

Adding letters make's different pitch's of bass or different sound's of bass, that you can mix in to dubstep or other kind's of beatboxing.

@xaznnigguhjoeyx It's normal. I have a midranged voice and I had to reallllly work to get it low. If you don't like how low your bass is you might have to just pretend like your singing a higher pitched song than what your voice is.

@MrThatguynamedchris1 You might not be forcing the air out hard enough. Also I find it helps if I relax the muscles in my throat...

Man. There's already way to many opprotunities for gay jokes in there :| Oh well. In all seriousness though that's pretty much what I did. Also make sure to remember how your doing it now cause as an experianced musician I find that there's really no "wrong" sounds. Just sounds that'll be usefull later on. Who knows. It could become your signature bass sound.

@VEVOmontage When you do the bass, the sound that comes out is about an octave lower than how it would sound if you were just humming. so if you have a naturally high pitched voice,your bass may sound abit weird. lol
