i know a lot of unemployed,some were 1099 filers,they get no unemployment benefits,i have other friends out of work now for over two years,they will get one more extention on the benefits.chrysler went bankrupt today,workers locked out of the factories,they say for a month or two.business around the factories that rely on the workers as a big part of thier income are panicing.stock market is syill doing better,the talking heads say the future is rosey.

analysts expected microsoft at 0.39/share but they came in at 0.33/share because they had 0.06/share in one time charges from layoffs etc. last quarter microsoft gave no guidence on profits so i expected people were worried. prior to earnings release microsoft was down -3% but the NASDAQ was up 7%. i was able to sell MSFT friday with a 10% gain the friday after they released earnings =)

The stock market will go down in relation to inflation, but I don't think it will go down in a numerical sense. The Fed government, and Federal Reserve keeps on pumping money into the stock market. I made like $10,000 last month trading stocks on a daily basis, starting with $5000. Don't get greedy, or you will lose it all. I took my money out, and bought tangible assets instead of buying more shares.

The Prez and everyone else all of the sudden stopped denying the slow down talk and admitted we were facing collapse. The gov did a 700 Billion dollar bail out and congress was threatened with martial law.
