David Daniels is the best, a revelation to those who've had enough of boyish countertenor coloratura.

His portrayal of the 'wind that convulses heaven and soil' is definitely a hurricane.

Forgot to say I saw him perform this live in London last October, his whole performance at that recital was fantastic but this aria got the loudest cheer.

Although this is not one of my favourite arias I love anything that the divine DD sings . I love to see him as himself too, (not in operatic costume). Thankyou so much for posting.
