  • hit against a defenceless reciever = penalty

  • I call that a DOWNFIELD BLOCK

  • Macho Harris!!! Cool dude, but just wasn't a great starting safety

  • Just brutal...

  • he was defensless i understand where you guys are coming from but as soon as al harris touched the ball the wide reciever isn't a wide reciever anymore he's a defender who's job now is to tackle the ball carrier and what do you do to protect him? block the defender. it was a great hit and it shouldn't have been called. he was defenseless but rules are rules

  • the way i see it the call is hit on a defenseless receiver

  • @Bass4Prez I agree with you. Defenseless.

  • @defekt87 hes not a reciever at that point though

  • @Bass4Prez I'm an Eagles fan but there was absolutely no reason for that hit.

  • @defekt87 it was a block

  • @Bass4Prez hes not a receiver at that point hes a defender

  • The Broncos had some stupid penalities called against them too that day. Like ejecting Stokley when he barely even touched the ref on accident and a holding call on Kuper.

  • no helmet to helmet, or shoulder to helmet, bad call!

  • if anything that was just a great block

  • Blocking is dangerous and should be outlawed!

    (yes that was sarcasm)

  • @Hellion4242 mad me lol :D

  • that was a bad call. The Refs basically allowed Denver to come back by effectively rendering a mid field interception moot when they placed the ball on the Eagles 1 yard line. That was basically a 48 yard penalty.

  • those refs on sunday were HORRIBLE
