My parents took me to see this movie when I was six years old (now I'm 42). I cried when Tiffany was kicked. My dad then told my mom that I needed a dog. Within a few weeks, my dad's buddy at work found a stray silky terrier, and asked my dad if he wanted it for his daughter. My dad brought him home, and I named him Benji. I had Benji for 15 years. Loved him! I guess it was fate.

I think Benji was a series as wel as being made into films as well so it could be the theme tune from the series. If this is not the case I am sorry I dont know the name of the film however if it was the very first one made it could well b that it was simply called Benji, hope this helps
