Have you given any thought to how either Black Gospel &/or Pentacostal music is the source of Rock & Roll? I remember in the movie "Ray" how the other Black performers object to how Ray Charles was using old Church music to make his new secular songs. They felt he was profaning sacred things.
& of course, Elvis & Jerry Lee Lewis were both raised in the Assemblies of God, the leading Pentacostal church. Elvis' favorite preacher was Rex Humbard. The source of all culture is the cult.
