@Shadowtheglitchhog Of course not. This is a tutorial, you can put any song you want in, and the game makes the course match the beats of the song.

@Shadowtheglitchhog Not exactly. Although there were a couple of songs on the original disc, the point was to use your own CD collection, and it would randomly generate the course. Basically audiosurf.

This must have been the predecessor to Audiosurf and whatever else kind of music-generated game ever. This game's unique in that it loaded directly into the PS1 RAM while generating the levels off of the music CD's you put in.

It would be so great if they would port this to current-gen systems as an arcade title, allowing to use songs from hard drives or other memory devices, or even CDs.

It can't be so hard to port, considering the graphics and structure compared to today's games.

Would be a great buy! Opinions?

I used to play this a lot on my ps1. I only had this on a demo disc though so I could only play part of the bronze course. It was still fun though. =)
