Tiger doesn't play these irons. BUT... I own the blades and I love them. They are as good, if not better, than the old MacGregor VIPs or the Nicklaus Muirfields. If you match up the proper shafts for your swing, you will have a great set of clubs.
Purchased the split cavities and I'm knocking down pins. First two rounds, I nearly holed out from 150 and then from 115. You CAN work the ball with these clubs and will feel your mishits, allowing for better understanding of your game. The vr forged wedges are incredible as well. You are really able to bite the ball and create decent backspin.
i dont know if i should get the split cavity or the blades what i want to do is get a half half. I am very good with my 6+ irons but i tend to miss shots with my 3-5 irons i want the blades for my 6+ and split cavity to 3-5 irons does anyone have any idea how i am going to do this?
Hi. Unless you are a scratch golfer or better we would recommend the split cavity as they feel as good as the blades, have a good trajectory but offer much more forgiveness :>
Just because irons at your local pro shop or retailer sells them in a set of 3-PW doesn't mean you must purchase them this way. It just so happens that the price is the same for these particular models. Talk to the pople you wish to purchase these from and tell them you would like the 3-5 in a split cavity and the 6-PW in the blade. Thats what I did and had Project X 6.0's ordered with them.
the splits do not perform aswell as the blades... the blades have a much nicer feel
