RY Cooder taught him open "G" and RY thought that he had stolen all of his licks but Keith rarely plays slide in open "G" Keith learned open "g"and ran with it as a rythym thing. "Happy" is the only song that I know of were He plays in G (Capoed on the 4th fret). As for your playing I think you are good. People are mean as hell here,man. Never mind these guys. Just play!
