Big tank - tracks = peice of scrap ( doesn't matter how much armour you have , knock out the tracks and it's a sitting duck , a very large sitting duck ) !
The WoT players seem to think themselves experts on tanks... The T-28 in WoT is fiction, the T-95 from that game was generally designated a T-28 in reality, and it was not a tank destroyer it was a siege vehicle designed to attack heavy fortifications like the Siegfried line.
that sherman w/ rocket launcher is an m4 "calliope" mobile rocket launching vehicle. It was an attempt to somehow replica the rusian katyusha. and actually worked quite well also @glodjovicanac is right that m-28 is a T-95 super heavy tank and the maus was only a prototype really only 1 was made and it was captured during testing it was a 200 tonne monster but wasnt actually the biggest thing the germans planned....the ratte was!!! lol
where were these superheavy tanks meant to operate end of ww2 nazi had no fuel no air cover they would have just been big targets for english typhoon or us thunderbolt p47 what a joke
Google and read "America Breaks Mach 20 Speed in Preparation for War with China" and then google and read "Is China Increasing its Military Spending to Prepare for War?"
imagine if they made the rattle and the maus. exept there was only 2-3 maus prototype made. but yea imagine if made the rattle it's too slow to move and the allies forces would just bomb it and climb up that ladder xD.
t-28 american super heavy tank how awesome it would of been to fire one of those, and with armor so thick no land shell of at- or artillery could penetrate awesome.
sadly arty could penetrate the armor of a T-28 ,GW E series Tiger shell would have to land on top of it, and kinetic energy and momentum of the shell coming down on top would rip right through the armor.
@Noniczek I ve seen it on film being used in Warsaw...it is only few seconds but it is there...these were captured in western Europe but I dont know how many.
@oxxExtinctionXXO lol i do not know that much German... but i do have a small idea of what you just said, did it have something to do with that wasnt a Flakpanzer, that was a prototype Panther? or something similar?
1 and 2 were crap. # 2 because it wouldnt harm shit with a cannon that small and 1 because u could only produce 1 of anything with that in ur army. u would have that and a shitload of inf. and it would be crap.
1 and 2 were crap 2 because it wouldnt harm shit with a cannon that small and 1 because u could only produce 1 of anything with that in ur army. u would have that and a shitload of inf. and it would be crap.
10.its a variant of Churchill tank 9-7. they are just drawing board designs they ain't heavy or secret 6.T34 Calliope again ain't no secret 5. M28 a assault gun not a tank 4. sturmtiger- a few improvised tigers 3. Maus - everybody knows nobody cares 2. T-35 a worst tank probably the opposition will be happy encountering this 1.Another insane nazi design. Allied flyboys will love to grease this monkey. Overall there's no point in keeping anything secret here. Most of em are insignificant weapons.
The "m-28 is actually the t-28 if u look at the back thats what it says. By looking at it I would say it's the t95 which was a beast but pretty useless since it does something like 12-15kmh I think. It was damn near impenetrable though. And the 105 it carried would destroy EVERYTHING but yes either t28-or t95 both were beast of tanks. But it does say it's a t28 on the back of it. Just sayin.
@BondarenkoNikita Most of these tanks would have been useless as they are way too big and the amount of fuel required would have been stupid, any way the British Typhoons would have destroyed all of them with rockets, as they did with the Tigers, which were the wars best tank.
'Wunderwaffen' like Maus and Ratte were failed concepts. Examples of Nazi engineers failing to see that war is an economic matter.
Maus would wreck oads, fall through bridges, guzzled ludicrous amouths of fuel and all at a smashing 13km/h. It was as tactically deployable as a mountain, which is ironic comming from a nation that proved just how imporant manouverability was.
Just one of #1 and Germany would have just won the war by driving over everything. Lol. Btw the Two main barrels are like the size of two Transport bus's put together end to end. It's just scary and thank god they never actually made a real one.
@UAInf You're wrong. The number 1 was really in project (the P 1000) but they didn't make it because the general Heinz Guderian (tank specialist) said no any road or bridge can resists to the 1500 tons of the beast.
@stevejaramillo the m-28 was a secret tank it was never used but with the maus two were built one was scudled by its crew and the other one which you see in the video is in a museum near moscow and when the allies raided a tank factory in germany they found a ton of maus parts i forget the factories name though to sum it all up the war ended before hitler could make enough maus' to win
10 is just a cromwell. over 4000 were built. it wasnt really a secret. 6 is just a calliope also not a secret. 4, the sturmtiger, was also fairly common
@SuperAljarreau Actually the Canadians had their "Skink" the Japanese with their Ta-Se and the Russians with their ZPU mounted on a tank chassis all of them were deadly quadmounts
@tigersharkgermany Maus never saw action. Two hulls and One Turret were completed. The larger Porsche hull and the Porsche Turret were taken to the Kubinka tank museum in Russia. The E-100 hull was taken to England, examined, and dismantled. The Porsche hull had a diesel-electric powerplant with electric transmission. The engine was only powerful enough to drive the vehicle at 12km/h, and it could only travel 13km on a single tank of fuel.
German Sappers bombed both hulls as they retreated.
@tigersharkgermany The Maus was never used. But there was two prototypes made. And they had finished their trials. There are rumours tho, that they might have been used in the defence of the facility. :P
Author and do not you think that the best tank recognized Russian T - 34. Value of firepower, mobility and protection. If you take the average IT BEST! This tank was saved many times life of my grandfather. Greetings to you from RUSSIA.
