Nice review of both films man! Hehe I noticed that you really dont like Demons 3 but to be fair it wasnt meant to be a Demons film originaly! And there are some things i like about it like:

1:Virginia Bryants over-the-top and over-acted performance (which gives a few chuckles)

2:The scene Where both Cheryl and Tom slap the hell out of each other had me in fits!

3:The music by Simon Boswell

4:The location is magnificant (I heard that castle is apparently Richard Band's but im not sure)

I think it would be better liked if it wasn't named Demons 3 , i think L.Bava thought it would sell better with that name. I know one of the Band's own a castle in Italy but i'm not sure if its that one , i know Castle Freak was filmed there.

I have never seen the Demon movies I know Im soooo uncool, but I will make a point of seeing them this year!! Cool review dude!!

Cool review, I'm not really a fan of Demons 2 or 3, nowhere nearly as good as the 1st movie, but still a Great Review***** :)

Thanks man , i loved part 2 almost as much as the 1st & to say it was rushed they still did a great job not like nowadays when they rush films out , i hated Demons 3 tho but the unofficial Demons 3 aka the Church is pretty decent. Part 1 is still the best tho.

Demons 2 kinda reminded me of "Shivers". People locked in a tower block battling other people who've been infected with some strange virus. What with the Videodrome reference, I suppose it is possible they were ripping of Cronenberg.

Ahh yes its abit of a coinsidence with the demon coming out of the screen & then the tower block infection , i liked Demons 2 better than Shivers tho . lol

I never knew there was a director's cut of Demons 2.

All I have is the first DVD release of the film.

Yes the directors cut of the film is in the U.K. boxset with the 1st 2 films & a special disc with unseen interviews with Argento & Bava.

Great review john. Demons 2 is great what i remember of it, still need to get it.

Damn Asia Argento is the daughter of Dario Argento. Did not even know that and i have seen her in 6 or 8 movies.

Yeah very simple formula , i'd love to see Argento , Bava & Stivaletti get back together & make a proper part 3 , maybe in a sports arena or a college campus or even a hospital , it would be so awesome & i'd be major excited.

Great reviews (waited to comment for I heard your both reviews). I have these 2 on VHS and haven´t seen them in years. Remember that dog scene - thanks for reminding me. I have mixed feelings about both movies, the idea is great and the make up effects are really good, the music didn´t match the movie in my oppinion. But I´ll give them both a re watch as soon as possible.

Is the picture quality good on DVD?
