Oh, and we're one of the only two states which currently have anti-shari'a amendments to our state constitution. Worse still, Louisiana's amendment doesn't expressly say Shari'a, nor does it have OK's blatant violation of the "good Faith" clause, so it's tricky to challenge as unconstitutional in the courts
@MikeLibertarian I want to know. "Since when did states constitutions become doodle pads?" This is driving me nuts. I did not hear about that case. This country is becoming so ass backwards. The guy up here who came up with this bill says 'Either this bill or a constitutional ban. Those are the only options".
Write to your state rep (house dot gov). Ask them to vote NO on HB 437.
