  • i have this game and played on my 60GB ps3 no problems, check your disc

  • its even worse if you try to play Space Channel 5 >:/

  • make sure your monitor is in game mode.

    usually is just the hookup

  • That's PS1 L-) =))))

  • like a Emulator in PC

    also some lags

    U_U

  • The same thing happens when I play this game on my 80gb ps3 too.

  • maybe it's an AV sync issue stemming from your video hookups

  • u suck harder then my grandpa

  • does any one have this game on pc cuz i need very very very much

pleaaaaase if anyone does please send me the link at

    qlb100 (hotmail)... thnx every one.

  • WHAT THE.. So is the american version of Bust a Groove that is sold by PSN.

THEN is NOT the japanese version which is the REAL FUN.

    What a dissapoitment.

  • i got this TODAY!! wooo hoooo.. but OH CRAP!!! lagggggggg....... an i do have the orig 60gig ps3..........

  • That's actually a problem that was supposed to be resolved on the 1.60 system update, for both BAG and BAG 2, but, it doesn't work... and i'm so frustrated, I just bought a copy of Bust A Groove 2, which is one of my all time fav games, I managed to buy a copy for 45$ thinking it was going to be well on my ps3, but darn! NO! Still, I own a PSOne, but it doesn't have a graphic enhancer!

  • It could only be fixed if:

    1. No postprocessing in PS3 fix by Sony.

    2. Lagfree HDTV

  • I got this issue when I played the game on the PS2. Was so sad when my sis sold her PS1. I'm praying they'll release this game maybe on the PS Network. I'm getting a little sick of just seeing RPG's and fighter games on there.

  • Really? I'm kind of surprised to hear that, because the game plays great on my slim PS2 (even when connected to an HDTV). And while Bust a Groove isn't up on the PSN store yet (I hope it does come), I've got Lammy (another game that has issues), and when I play it on my PSP instead of my PS3 it works perfectly.

  • kaos441k cmon man give this a crack first, this game fukn rocked man.... old school fuk yeah... GAS-O RULED..goen play halo3 or sum crap... ( YES IL SAY IT!!.. I HATE HALOOOOOO 3!! )

  • Fuckk, i was so happy to finally got the copy i bought from ebay today. I was noticing frame lag too when I played it... FUCK.

Like it's fine the first 30 seconds into a song then it starts to fuck up on you...

  • I also have this problem when I play Bust A Groove in my computer or my PSP. I end up turning the music off. The game is nothing without the music though...

  • well this makes me NOT want to get a PS3 just to play this

  • Ah.. I see it now, yeah, that is pretty bad, thanks for posting this video. =D

  • It's not laggy.. It's a little bit fast when Kitty N gets to her fourth beat.

  • I kind of worded it badly... when I said "frame lag," I'm talking about the added frames that the PS3 puts into back-compat games, making it seem like there's lag between you pressing the button and the action happening.

  • Maybe you can't play BAG at 60-120 frames on the PS3..

  • The problem is in how the PS3 outputs games via backward compatibility. For example, if I hook my PS2 up to the exact same TV, the game plays fine. Sony set the output for PS1 and PS2 games in a way that introduces this lag, and while it should be fixable, they haven't done so as of yet.

  • @morningproject Sorry I know it has been 2 years, but have you tried removing the upscale feature?
