You need to get a 2.4ghz controller for that because your fm controller Is on the same track you will most likely be using the same channel and your controller will become confused and it may lose signal or the other persons controler will control yours. I have a 2.4 for my earthquake never gonna use fm

hey ali. my dad just bought this truck off ebay for x-mas. i start it up it runs great, but i go through like one small puddle and my steering servo stops working. my throttle and break still work but it wont steer. i let it dry for a day, go out again get a little wet and the steering stops again. do i need a new servo or what? please help.

Same thing happened to me too, except i was racing in a parking lot, something went wrong with the controller and my receiver was getting false throttle signals and my crashed at full speed into a brick wall....

my nitro buggy does the same thing except it goes on full speed i am not able to control it either but it happens when it goes on grass or bumpy side walks or cracks on sidewalk`do u know why it happens

Check batteries and make sure they are full batteries. Not weak, fully charged batteries. Also make sure the connections are not loose. Finally check the on off switch

I dont really think this is funny. considering this is a problem with the redcat cars and exceed cars. they runout of control occasionaly for no apparent reason , except maybe a jump or some rocks shaking the rx to much..

its actually dangerous, what if you went 30 mph into a baby carriage , or someones bare leg. I noticed redcat has an usa recall on order. Was this car part of the recall>? my landslide did this today and i broke the wheel shaft,. radip gear sucks. can i change it.>>?

Hi dude, good fun hobby is'nt it. My buggy went off a cliff but I did'nt want to run after it, I'm scared of hights. It was about 60m high and I can still see it flying through the air befor it landed in the north see, it did'nt flot like yours eather, it went down like a brick. Makes me laugh just thinking about it though. Expensive but funny.

Well, mostly if they are not fried. just leave them to dry. then use hair dryer to dry the rest of humidity or water. They should work fine.

Well not really mate. you took it wrong. It affects me in fact more. if this was my own truck I would not worry much. But this one is RedCat Racing's Property and I am responsible for it. Even if they sent it free to me, it's has become a responsibility and it's our (both mine n Redcat racing) property I should keep it safe and running :D

llollll i aint run after it ....the only thing i done is laugh...because i strip the spur gear snap both tab bend the dog bone and the body post...lollllthe thing i do for the spur gear ...i put and mad best metal spur gear with two 5x8 bearing in around the landslide shaft to make a snug fit and work great

Oh sure, it's fixed n back in action. I was just not running it cuz I was doing a video on it :) the repair thing. I used its engine to do Rebuilding the clutch video. Now the baby is back in Action. Soon will post some videos.

Still trying to figure it out, Might be possible some radio glitch, or batteries slipped due to engine vibration. I just had a rubber band around them. I should have used full taping. Sandstorm was going out of control too, but when I mummified the batteries in tape LOL never went out of control. so could be loose batteries in Volcano SV. Anyway, truck was washed nicely :D

its just a very small thing that plugs in between the throttle servo and reciever, and when your reciever gets hit by interference or loses signals, the failsafe picks it up cuts the engine to idle and puts on full brakes so that it doesnt run away, or take a dive into a river :D they only cost about 10-15 bucks so its well worth getting one
